During tonight's CBS Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump was the only candidate to address the news that Carrier will be sending hundreds of American jobs to Mexico.
The GOP frontrunner said that under a President Trump, Carrier would stay and "build in the United States because we are killing ourselves with trade pacts that are no good for us and no good for our workers."
Video footage emerged yesterday, which went viral, capturing the anger and heartache of 1,400 Indianapolis workers who were informed that they soon would be out of work, as their company will be sending their jobs to Mexico. The New York Post described the video as "stomach-turning."
The company representative tried to quiet the crowd, as workers of different races and ethnicities cried out in outrage and despair. "Let's quiet down," the company representative said in the video.

lol
Nor is it 200 million of us. I just pulled that number out of a hat.
Hey, that’s fine. Raising taxes now to avoid an impending economic collapse is a plan.
+1
That will do them alot of good now!!!
Trump thinks Planned Parenthood does great things.
And so does every one of the millions of women, liberal and conservative who take advantage of their services that are not related to abortion...So, so what???
Cruz just ended any chance of achieving his Presidential aspirations by doing what you apparently are trying to do which is equate the support of what planned parenthood does that is good with abortion, trying to make people think Trump supports abortion...
Cruz may as well bow out of the race...He's toast...Conservatives don't care much for dishonesty...
It's funny, he's getting credit for mentioning Carrier and the people who lost their jobs, but his solution was to punish the company with taxes and penalties, not dismantle the regulations that make it so these companies leave the country in the first place.
#bad
Trump plan is to lower taxes, not raise them. Are you getting your info from Bush PAC ads, or what?
It’s not just manufacturing ..White collar are jobs are being decimated as well ...
So how much higher should our taxes be? Just give me a ballpark number.
Did Cruz even say anything about it?
Did he just offer to pray for them?
I have not studied Trump’s plan (for a number of reasons that I do not care to start a flamewar over). I do know that some of his supporters have an eye on my wallet.
What do you mean ? You’re the only one talking about higher taxes ... are you referring to tariffs ?
Well, tariffs are taxes . . . but I’m not sure where you are going with this all . . . .
Well you keep referring to higher taxes ...where are you going with it ?
I just want to know how much more I need to pay out of my wallet so that some protectionist can claim he saved a job. That’s all.
Just admit you’re an Atheist so that we all know where you’re coming from.
Oh brother. Here is that snotty Cruz supporter “I’m going to judge your religion” crap again.
Why don’t you just admit that your faith is nothing but the thing you toss up to cover for a life of abuse and vice that you engage in the other 6 days a week?
See! I can act like you too!
I’m no atheist, but I also despise the podunk plastic Christians that wave faith around like a cheap toy, which seems to be far too many Cruz supporters favorite activity.
the companies are plenty profitable
-If Carrier moves to Mexico, everyone else will have to pay more taxes to make up for the lost tax revenue.-
And more government spending on welfare of some type
