The real estate mogul is responsible for 40 percent of the conversation during the CBS debate from Greenville, S.C., according to data obtained from Twitter. Jeb Bush accounted for 20 percent of the conversation, followed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) at 14 percent, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) at 13 percent, Ben Carson at 8 percent and Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) at 5 percent.

Trump also gained the most Twitter followers of all presidential candidates, followed by Rubio, Kasich, Democratic contender Hillary Clinton who wasn't on stage, and Ted Cruz.

The top three moments on Twitter all centered around the social media-savvy Trump.
The most tweeted moment was Trump calling Jeb Bush "so weak on illegal immigration that it's laughable."
The next most-tweeted moment happened during the back and forth between Trump and Cruz over their conservative credentials. "You are the single biggest liar," Trump yelled at the Texas senator.
The third biggest moment was Trump's criticism of the George W. Bush administration and 9/11. Jeb Bush defended his brother's record, saying he kept the U.S. safe.
But Trump fired back. "How did he keep us safe when the World Trade Center went down?"

Did anyone see Bret Baier’s face when he introduced Trump tonight after the debate? Disgust to the enth degree. Same look Baier had when he had Trump on Fox News a couple weeks ago, but it’s gotten more severe. He should not show his hate that way... the news moderators sure have changed to being a judge and jury, right before our eyes.
Then Fox continued to tear him apart... “was Trump’s worst debate”... and then I saw where his numbers were up after the debate. They are going to have a time reporting on President Trump. And I will have to find another news channel to watch. I missed half the debate tonight because I’ve turned off the news and did not realize it was on until I heard a mention of it an hour after it had started.

I live about 16 miles from the area, and have several family members live a stones throw away from the area...and we will always remember 09/11/2001..

I voted for GW but I was never a worshiper of him or his father. GW was a likable guy.. Jeb does not have that touch. But GW being silent while obama took him and us to the cleaners, has turned me into a “never again Bush”. He could have defended this country against all of obama’s lies .. but he did not.
Just before GW was elected, he put Carla Fay Tucker to death in TX. Not that she did not deserve her punishment, but he had some choice words over her body that has stuck with me all these years. It would have been better if he had handed the punishment without showing that side of him. I never saw it when he was President, but I’m sure he tried his best to show is best.
Enough Bushes... Barbara was one who told us to ‘get over it’ when obama was elected. I figured with their money, they could afford to say that and could afford to ‘get over it’.

What? Do you deny that George W was president on 9/11? We certainly blame Obama for all his screw ups that happen on his watch, but not George W? What sort of double standard should we conservatives have? Trump tells the truth and he is done?
I was not recording at the time. Hindsight. I did discuss it with other hams in the area that heard it. We were all knocked off balance by what was happening.

You are totally RIGHT! One of the best ways to beat Clinton is to go after her regarding her vote to go to war with Iraq. That issue alone will garner a lot of bipartisan support. Jebby can’t go there!
