Ted Cruz, vying for the Republican presidential nomination, will now only appear at one service Sunday at Community Bible Church in Port Royal.
The U.S. Senator from Texas will preach at 11 a.m. after having been scheduled to talk at two services. His topics will include his testimony and the relevance of the Bible in government, according to a church Facebook post Wednesday.
The service will be streamed on the church website.
Cruzâs appearance comes ahead of South Carolinaâs Republican primary on Feb. 20. The Democratic primary will be Feb. 27.

Damn Christian candidate. We want either a nominal Christian or a fake one. Vote for The Donald!
Maybe he can be president of Texas. As a Texan I would like that.
Cruz isn’t a natural born Texan, so would be ineligible to be President of Texas.

A revealing video of Ted’s last sermon from the pulpit.
Funny, but in a revelation there is no law other than the spirit.
He is running for POTUS, he shouldn’t be preaching at all.
Sounds similar to JWs
It used to be considered quite honorable to preach at a Christian church. More scorn than love for Christians these days.
GPH regularly ridicules Christians. FR regularly facilitates it. Sad.
Louie Gohmert preaches from our pulpit once a year and he is not ordained.
Hate much?
That does it. I’m switching my vote to the carnival barker who steals quarters from old ladies. Trump could preach a sermon from Two Corinthians if he had someone else write it for him.
“Hate much?”
A very liberal answer. Expected from you.
What I have learned about all you Trumpets is that you hate Ted Cruz because he is an outspoken Christian. If he would just hide all that snake handling and speaking in tongues, he would be a fine candidate. But we just can’t have a candidate who, heavens to Betsy, addresses fellow Christians from a pulpit in their own church. That makes me feeeellll uncomfortable. I’ll stick with the guy who is going to make all of us rich and build a real fine wall with Mexican money.
No. I hate Cruz Cruz he is a liar. I am a Catholic. I am fine with a Christian but I am not impressed with a Christian who does not live the way they preach.
Will he talk right through the collection or show at least a little respect for the IRS rules against what he is doing?
