You are not correct. See Davis v. Federal Election Commission
SCOTUS decision and cases cited therein.

Note the following passage from that case: “A party facing
prospective injury has standing to sue where the threatened
injury is real, immediate, and direct. Los Angeles v. Lyons ,
461 U. S. 95, 102 (1983); see also Babbitt v. Farm Workers ,
442 U. S. 289, 298 (1979) (A plaintiff may challenge the
prospective operation of a statute that presents a realistic
and impending threat of direct injury). Davis faced such an
injury from the opera- tion of §319(a) when he filed suit.
Davis had declared his candidacy and his intent to spend
more than $350,000 of personal funds in the general
election campaign whose onset was rapidly approaching.”

This NBC thing looks like a genuine dispute of a material issue fro Cruz. Don’t you think Cruz should put this thing to bed? If he was nominated, a lost suit by the Dems could give the election to them. IMO, Cruz should get the federal court system all the way up to SCOTUS even if it means he might be DQ’d. IMO that would be a selfless move and would show good faith.

This happens all the time... plenty of military kids are born overseas... both on and off military bases.. and yes they are U.S. citizens and yes they have U.S. birth certificates.

“Don’t you think Cruz should put this thing to bed?”

Why waste his time? Let the lunatics put it to bed.

There is no real madness. The word is in quotes. The “madness” is in the perception of his adversaries, be they Hillary, Jorge, China, the Mullahs, the Media or those on FR who are opposed.

I have learned not to knee-jerk when Trump says something “outrageous”. There is a method to what initially may seem to be madness.

I’m sure you didn’t mean to be funny but the “details of Cruz’s parenting” are the same as the rest of us...some romantic music, maybe some wine?

Clowns like you have said it. Why should I since I do not have standing? However, Trump and other presidential candidates who are on the state ballots do have standing because of the fact that Cruz is injurious to their presidential candidacy. It is Trump’s perogative whether to file suit or not.

So which is it? Trump is either a bald faced liar or a fraud?

He said he would not file suit to challenge Cruz's elgibility. he said it in the first few Debates when directly asked.

Now he is saying he will if Cruz doesn't stop the mean ads calling him the N.Y. Liberal he is.

Those are Trump's words NOT mine. Hold the lying, cheating fraud who said it accountable.

I believe that Reagan’s conversion from a Democrat to a Republican was legitimate. I just don’t trust Trump or believe him, I think he’s a snake oil salesman who will say or do anything to further his personal ambition.

OK, so Cruz wins the nomination and the Dems sue and the Court decides Cruz is not an NBC and is ineligible. Why would you want to hand the election to these scoundrels?

I see no reason why Cruz should not get it decided now. As I said, it would show good faith and more of a concern for America’s future than his own political prospects.

Yes, but there is a genuine constitutional dispute here that need to be put to bed in court. Cruz should get this put to bed one way or the other.

Why don’t you get real? It wasn’t just Drudge - it was every - got that - EVERY poll. If you’d take your head out of your rear end you might see the truth about your sleazy candidate.

Sigh I hear you on the destruction of a family.

Just think of what the " marriage" of TRUMP to our country will do.

I Pray AMERICA wakes before NOVEMBER from this con artist.

He’s busy running his campaign, not wading in the gutter. Let me know when a court decides to hear this clown show.

So does he suspend his campaign while he waits for the courts? What if a federal judge rules he is eligible but the supreme’s refuse to hear the case? What’s to stop the democrats from mounting an appeal if he wins the general. The potential exists for this not to end anything while destroying his chances... which I think honestly is the real goal. At least for Trump.

Your entire post needs repeating!!!!!

PR stunt.

Trump could have written a check like that to the veterans any time in the last 30 years and never did. Now when he wants to be President, he discovers the veterans. How convenient.

Btw, why didn’t he take the 100k he gave the Clinton Crime Foundation and give it to the veterans??

Answer? He wasn’t running for President and the veterans couldn’t do anything for him.

He does whatever is best for the Donald. And the cult members all fall in line.
