Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and current Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, said in an interview at a Hillary Clinton fundraiser that she left the Baptist church because she was not happy that she was told about abortion when she was a 6-year-old.

"I find it quite insulting sometimes when people say to my mom, my dad or me . . . that they question our faith,' said Chelsea. "I was raised in a Methodist church and I left the Baptist church before my dad did, because I didn't know why they were talking to me about abortion when I was 6 in Sunday school — that's a true story."
"My mother is very deeply a person of faith," Chelsea said. "It is deeply authentic and real for my mother, and it guides so much of her moral compass, but also her life's work."
"I recognized that there were many expressions of faith that I don't agree with and feel [are] quite antithetical to how I read the Bible," Chelsea said. "But I find it really challenging when people who are self-professed liberals kind of look askance at my family's history."

Now, while I'm not a Baptist and I've never been to church in Arkansas, but as someone who helped teach C.C.D. classes to kindergarteners at my parish for two years while I was in high school, I am positive that nothing involving abortion was ever mentioned to my students in my classroom. It's not appropriate to discuss abortion to someone who is that young, and that topic should be saved for someone who is more mature and able to understand what is happening. Further, most 6-year-olds I taught were far more concerned with coloring than social issues.
Does anyone really believe this story?
Chelsea makes me sick, I hate how the media takes these politico kids and shoves them in our face as payback to their juicer advocacy of the decade like the Clinton Machine, she is totally talentless and annoying. Just like those Obama kids, they now are giving one of them roles in plays, even a movie part, it is sickening, that one is nothing but a hip hop idiot (it is a known fact, Michelle raised this talentless imp with rap music with vile lyrics) and now she is also being shoved in our face as payback to (or extortion from) the Obamanists, they can all get lost.

When abortion became legal I was about 6 or 7
It was very clear to me that it was a horror.
But I was too young to have an adult opinion at that age.
It was what my Parents and the Church were teaching.
How can you leave a church when you are not yet a member? I’m sure that we have good Baptists who can confirm this, but if I recall correctly, you don’t join the Baptist church until baptism which occurs after 6 years old.

I also don't think that most parents discuss abortion with their innocent first grade children. Did Bill and Hillary? Possibly. But as low as my opinion of them is, I seriously doubt that abortion was discussed with her. As for choosing to dump the Church at 6 over abortion, I don't know of any child who even thinks that way. As for leaving the Methodist church, she wouldn't have to leave it over abortion. It is has fine with abortion for the most part for years. For years I felt sorry for Chelsea. But it is evident to me that she has willingly adopted the pathological lying tendencies of her parents.
