Trump’s tweet maes perfect sense, and is absolutely true.

According to Jeb and McConnell, they have met the enemy, and the enemy is us.

The GOP does nothing because they are all compromised.

We need a wrecking ball in DC, and one with his own 757.

I’m not Trump’s biggest fan... but I’m not going to criticize him on this one.

Two words for the nay-sayers: Marco Rubio

For the record:

Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web.

It's gonna get crowded under this bus.

I’m a conservative and I agree the Republican candidates made all sorts of promises to get elected and caved. It an honest assessment.

Go Trump!

I’m a Trump supporter who’s not convinced he’s a conservative. Pretty sure he’s not if I have to be honest. But I think he’ll do a few things I like

* significantly slow down illegal immigration. With the goal of stopping it but we can’t avoid doing things just because we’re not sure the ultimate goal will be reached.

* change the entire immigration system for the better. illegals, H1B, etc.

* Replace Obamacare. I don’t know if it’ll be better than Obamacare but it’s better than anything the “conservatives” have done or even officially proposed in the last 7 years. Actually, the president can’t replace Obamacare but can put pressure on congress and work with them to do it - I think he will and it’s really up to them to a large degree but he’ll push them.

* Be good for the economy and trade. Maybe he’ll take care of his friends like we expect from politicians. But I think we will include “us” in the deals and he’ll call BS on congress when they want to take care of friends without “us”.

* Be great for the military. I think he will listen to the experts (e.g. generals) and give good direction, and be good for moral and results.

* Help congress get things done. (see Obamacare above). There are lots of areas where congress talks but does nothing. The minority party can stop things. Nothing can get done without giving “something” to the minority party. I trust him in getting republicans in congress to deliver their priorities while also giving the minority party enough to go along (assuming Rs keep control). I know people don’t like that, but it’s the way our government works. It’s up to us to deliver conservatives to congress and will enable them to do as much as possible.

* Cut down on waste in the budget. I don’t care if it’s a program he hates or loves he won’t want to see waste. I think 80+ programs providing duplicate welfare programs will disgust him as a businessman as much as it disgusts me. I don’t see him failing to cut a duplicate jobs program because that would mean firing people. Maybe he can’t legally fire them but he’ll find a way to make them productive if we have to pay them rather than duplicating a service.

* Appoint competent people as ambassadors. They may be his friends but judged on competency in the country rather than donations. This is important for trade, military response to ISIS, and many other things. I have a lot of respect for his ability to put the right people in place and he will have the right people working for the US all around the world. This goes for all appointments but I think ambassadors is one place that has a lot of potential and is too often used to pay off donors. It may be more important than ever after what Obama’s done to all our relationships.

Looks like Trump was echoing what Rush was emphasizing yesterday.

I was surprised that Rush didn’t take credit for it.

This one too ...

We are getting reports from many voters that the Cruz people are back to doing very sleazy and dishonest "pushpolls" on me. We are watching!

Trump is certainly no conservative. He’s in no position to complain about this.

Here’s how I interpret it and here’s what I say:

BOTH The GOP and conservatives within the GOP have done nothing in the past 7 years to stop Obama.

I’m thru with them, hence the popularity of Trump - blow up the GOP and start anew.

I'd like some names here

Let's start with Cory Gardner, Freshman Senator from Colorado, who ran on a Conservative platform and cornered the Tea Party vote to oust the dummycrat incumbent, only to use his victory speech to let us know that, in his case, impeachment & government shutdown were off the table, effectively screwing his constituency, THE NIGHT OF HIS VICTORY!!!!

THIS is why we're pi$$ed off! Screw the establishment! Screw the GOP! It's time for the GOP to be relegated to the dust bins of history - the GOP is complicit in the undermining of the Constitution. The GOP IS NO DIFFERENT than the dummycrats - they ARE one and the same.

..... I think Twitter is a sewer. I think Twitter is where the dregs, the human debris of our culture go to hang out anonymously — at least a lot of them

>>>>>>>>>>>>

That makes it a good place for Trump

When I first read Trumps’ tweet, I found nothing at all wrong with it but after Rush got through with it, he inserted HIS opinion about what others SHOULD be taking into consideration.

He was just planting seeds so the media might pick it up and run with it.

I used set aside my skepticism about the media, in general, but when I listened to him lately, I can no longer do that.

What the Republican party should have done is shortly after the 2014 campaign is impeach Obama. Would Donald Trump agree with such a move or would he call it clumsy racism or sumping?

There is no God but Conservatism, and Ted Cruz is it’s prophet.

Where have I heard something like that before?

Well if that is the Tweet it is very true.
Since 2010 many of that call ourselves Republicans voted for these so called Conservatives that said they were drawing a line in the dirt on Obamacare, the Debt, and the Deficit.
They did nothing, instead they rolled over and caved at every turn. So from that perspective Trump is absolutely correct.
