Saying that he does't trust businessman Donald Trump ideologically, Viguerie added: "Cruz is the best candidate I've seen since Ronald Reagan and in many ways he's more ideologically consistent than Reagan." His feeling is that with the establishment currently divided across several candidates, Cruz can to rally not just conservatives, but the entire GOP. Viguerie said the GOP hasn't been fully united since 1988 and "only Cruz has potential to unite the party." ...

Trump won’t unite anybody. Not with the rhetoric and the language he’s spewing from his mouth on a daily basis.
Will Ted Cruz BUILD A WALL? I doubt it!

“The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions,â he wrote in his book The America We Deserve. âI generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I also support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun.â
This says all I ever need to know about Trump. No Conservative ever said this. Go Ted!
Yes Ted is building a wall. Between him, his supporters and other Republicans. Should work out well.
I will vote for Cruz if he becomes the Republican nominee. That being said I do not like the man. It is hard for me to say why.
Ted’s ability to unite the party is why he was #3 in the last primary. Might not have even been that if he hadn’t of conned some people into thinking they had a voter violation.
I’d settle for uniting the country against the uniparty.
When I see the thousands of people who clamor to attend Trump’s rallies, compared to Cruz rallies, I somehow doubt that assertion.
I am a staunch conservative. 100% on the Blennos scale. My first choice is Ted Cruz, but I have no problem supporting Trump if he is the nominee. Both are good men. Both are patriots. Both would attempt to undo much of the damage caused by BHO.
That’s a picture of a few thousand people in a coliseum. That hardly shows unity of a country.
Number three without even trying. He only spent five hundred thousand, and spent the next least number of days campaigning in SC. Third! Without even trying. Just wait till you see what happens in the Bible Belt. Cruz will wipe the floor with the Donald!
This headline is nuts, Trump has the biggest coalition since Reagan.
Agreed!
Trump can reach the independents and cross-overs that Cruz can’t.
Building a wall has nothing to do with uniting Republicans. Stick to the topic. It is Trump that can’t unite, and continues to distract.
If we were in Court, and you were under oath, I would aske the Judge to have your non-responsive statement stricken, and to admonish you for not being on topic.
Have a good day.

‘Here am I Lord, use me’: Ted Cruz’s dad says Holy Ghost authorized White House run
“Pastor Rafael Cruz told the Dove TV that Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’ decision resulted from 6 months of prayer, which culminated in a 2-hour session in which Cruz felt divine inspiration which directed him to enter the race, according to Right Wing Watch.
During the intense prayer session, Ted Cruz’ wife, Heidi, said “seek God’s face, not God’s hand,” the elder Cruz said. He believes this was divinely inspired as well.
“It was as if there was a presence of the Holy Spirit in the room and we all were at awe,” Cruz stated, “and Ted, all that came out of his mouth, he said, ‘Here am I Lord, use me. Here am I Lord, I surrender to whatever Your will for my life is.’ And it was at that time that he felt a peace about running for president of the United States.”
