I will vote for Cruz if he becomes the Republican nominee. That being said I do not like the man. It is hard for me to say why.
I think Cruz lack competence. He may be right on issues, he maybe the most Conservative, but he couldn’t achieve anything

With Cruz, he often uses weasily lawyer/politician talk, his voice is grating & he is terrible at telling jokes. Can't complain about where he stands on the issues at all. I'm just not convinced he can do much outside his appeal to evangelicals.
When he blames the state of New Hampshire for his loss, Cruz just shows he doesn't understand how to appeal to anyone outside his narrow base.
I’m not so sure I can vote for him after wrangling with his supporters on this forum and the dirty tricks he has pulled. Not to mention who his advisers are and his wife’s background. sure, she isn’t running for office, but, never underestimate the influence a wife has on a husband. I just can’t get enthusiastic about Cruz.

I think the reason most people do not like or "adore" Senator Cruz the way they flock to Trump is that he is so dang deliberate.
He is so passionate about the Constitution and his belief in the republic hid delivery comes of blunt and deliberate, to the point.
He is not the shiny dime but the passion for preserving the republic is there.
You never hear Trump display the passion for the republic. I can see the passion in Senator Cruz
