I think Cruz lack competence. He may be right on issues, he maybe the most Conservative, but he couldn’t achieve anything
He would not accomplish much as he is not liked by his peers-at least according to some reports. A modicum of likability is necessary to achieve a political result Congress could simply dig in their heels and refuse to pass a Presidential initiative.
