(CNN)The national spokesman for Ted Cruz's presidential campaign is calling the Donald Trump campaign "the Seinfeld candidacy," because as he puts it, "The whole campaign is about nothing."
Rick Tyler told CNN's Erin Burnett that Trump says "nothing about immigration, nothing about job creation, nothing about what's going on in North Korea, nothing about ISIS. I mean this is amazing."
Tyler said Cruz is running a campaign about conservative issues and that Trump fails to discuss the issues because he isn't a true conservative.
Both Trump and Cruz are eying key primaries in southern states starting with South Carolina, which holds its primary February 20.
Tyler added that "Donald Trump's own worst enemy is himself." ...

But I will indeed say however that to vote for a man with zero history of Conservatism, in fact with a history of and lifestyle of just the opposite, who evidences he supported those who fought against the very values and principles conservative's have fought for......is a very dangerous risk when there is another who has clearly shown and done what he has said for Conservatives, for this nation and for it's people and the very foundation of which this nation has stood. You might consider that sometimes when God cannot reach an individual from going down the wrong path he does make it very uncomfortable for them to continue so.....for a time.......but then he will let them have their way. As Christians we have a responsibility to warn people....especially when it affects this entire nation and it's people. It's not a sick attempt by any means...it's because we can see the deception involved in this election and the purposes behind it.
So silly........That dumb commercial that Cruz did was so amateurish. And why is Cruz allowing those boys play with dolls and doll houses? What the heck is Cruz’s problem. Thank God he doesn’t have boys.
I link substance to a solid track record. I might take a chance on a local politician who says all the right things with no record to back it up, but I am not so foolish as to vote for a president with no resume to back up their campaign promises. No way Jose.
And as I said, what resume Donald Trump does have runs completely opposite of what he saying now.
It's M2wT, who is all about NOTHING and has to steal Trump's lines and stances on things, because he is an EMPTY SUIT!
What about Christians who are Dems ?
What about Jews who don't go to church, aren't Christians, bur who ARE CONSERVATIVES?
What Christian sect do you belong to?
Has it thrown out the Ten Commandments?
If not and you believe yourself to be a "good" Christian, WHY do you continuously break the Commandment that states: THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS ?
And YOU “know” Ted Cruz PERSONALLY, do you?
I guess that’s why he came in 2nd in Iowa and shellacked the others in NH, huh? This is BS.
If by some miracle cruz gets the nomination, posts like this are the reason that I will leave the top of the ticket blank in the general. Every insulting post drives another voter away. Washington cartel...who do you think is paying the senator’s bills? Those five dollar donations he constantly begs for aren’t funding him.
Cruz supporters answer this question.
Do you believe Ted when he said God told him to run for president?
What exactly are you referring to? Quote and link please.
‘Here am I Lord, use me’: Ted Cruz’s dad says Holy Ghost authorized White House run
Lets not pussyfoot around about it. Cruz is a pussyfooter. No waterboarding for Canada Ted. There, I fixed it.
Ted has received over 800,000 donations averaging about 80 bucks each. That’s hardly a campaign that is dominated by big money.
YOU ASKED: “Do you believe Ted when he said God told him to run for president?”
I then asked you to send me a quote and a link.
YOU REPLIED: âHere am I Lord, use meâ: Ted Cruzâs dad says Holy Ghost authorized White House run
Do you not see your mistake?
We Trumpsters can genuflect to the church of conservatism every Sunday, bless ourselves with the holy water of conservatism and kiss the papal ring of the conservative pope. However, with all that conservatism, does that make us pragmatic? We, as conservatives, need to use our God given common sense and be pragmatic. Who has shown, through their accomplishments, that they have the most pragmatic ability to successfully accomplish the conservative brand?
Ted Cruz never said he was against waterboarding. He wants to keep it, but does not want to authorized it’s use at the line officer level. Can you imagine if every Tom, Dick and Harry was allowed to use waterboarding out on the battlefield? How long do you think waterboarding would last in the public’s eye if the use of waterboarding became widespread? It would only be a matter of time before someone pulled an Abu Ghraib and then the public would turn against water boarding and it will be gone as tool of interrogation forever. I completely agree with Ted Cruz on this one.
It says....I wasn't eligible but I think I am now.....well maybe.
....”We, as conservatives, need to use our God given common sense and be pragmatic. Who has shown, through their accomplishments, that they have the most pragmatic ability to successfully accomplish the conservative brand?”.....
Well that answer is obvious to some more than others as we know.
