The fact is, the Federal Government has stepped way outside its bounds and is trampling water, property, and many of our unalienable rights.
If they will do it to these farmers and ranchers...you can bet that, sooner or later, they will do it to you.
These people are standing up against it. It has been going on for years, and getting worse.
At some point, you either stand up against it, or you are no longer free. That's why this is important, and the name of this forum "Free Republic," should give you the hint that, yes, these types of things are precisely what FR is about.
Our founders understood this. It is PRECISELY what they did against the over-burdensome and tyrannical English government of their day. They ended up being inspired in their writing of the Declaration of Independence and then the US Constitution to outline what the federal government's role is...and they are pretty explicit about it.
Now we live in a day when those constraints are being trampled and a new generation of people recognize the same truths...

Whether you agree with hos these people are going about it...make no mistake...that is exactly what is happening.
