Like Donkey Kong. Ted Cruz scored a surprising third-place finish in New Hampshire in yesterday's first-in-the-nation primary, and now it looks like he's going for a knockout before South Carolina. Cruz tweeted out the campaign's latest web ad after his victory, one that takes aim at the winner, Donald Trump. The ad depicts children playing with their new "Donald Trump action figure," and says what he does most is "pretend to be a Republican"...
It's a tour de force of counter-Trump arguments. The ad manages to mention Trump's friendship with Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid (and adds in a shot at Anthony Weiner, too). Bailouts and Too Big To Fail get mentioned, but it's Trump's support for eminent domain that gets most of the attention (video):

But I agree with you that that is an unfair proceeding because the very act of condemnation combining these properties makes them far more valuable to Donald Trump than the market value which is ascribed to the homeowner as at the date of the declaration of taking.
It’s an issue, and Trump’s accumulation of wealth by having the government take the property of working people to enrich him is the perfect fodder for Dhimmicraps to “do a Romney” on him, presenting him as an uncaring rich guy who uses ordinary people for his benefit.
That’s a good way for Republicans to lose this election.
There will be no relief for Donald Trump.
I’m surprised Glenn Beck isn’t in it? Where is that uber-effective campaigner anyway?
Since you like third place so much, you’ll love second place in Carolina. If you’re lucky enough to get it
“It can it be reasonably argued that the Keystone is national interest, while additional parking for Trump is private interest.”
I’d like to see you argue that. Go ahead.
Another salvo of the shoot-foot variety for the Cruz camp.
Although, for me, Cruz was tied with Trump initially in this whole process, Cruz is permanently off my list.
Because of repeated attacks on Trump based on the least common denominator, the ignorant.
Trump is not perfect, and I am definitely not a fan of his view of "eminent domain," having dealt with it for decades in my professional life.
No candidate is 100% perfect.
But I think Trump's knowledge and experience will prevail and he will re-examine his stand on that; moderate it.
The phrase "friendship with" is grossly distorted, also. Non hostility cannot universally be assumed to mean "friendship."
As in my view of perverts.

Backed Eminent Domain in Texas Senate debate
Do we want an admirer of Putin and 0bama who supports dealing with the Castros as our Republican nominee?
That “strong man” government has been a major problem for the last 7 years — or at lest, the last five since the GOP took over the House.
I just did. Think about it.
“Itâs an issue, and Trumpâs accumulation of wealth by having the government take the property of working people to enrich him”
Are you trying to say that ED is the HOW behind Trump got so wealthy?
Please back that up.
It tells you that Donald Trump has used laws to get ahead in his businesses.
It doesn’t tell you how he would represent the American people.
We have to use our imaginations and the knowledge we have of him to know how he’d lead as our ultimate representative. I put all the info together in my brain and consolidate it, and I hope I am right. Trump is a true patriot, he’s at the end of his successful career, and he wants the free country, the powerful moral world leader, he remembers, for his kids and grandkids. He was waiting for someone to lead us. No one suitable has come along. He knows he could do it, but he’d rather someone else. But no one else is stepping up. His issues are essential issues. His goals are essential goals. He doesn’t seem to be of the same cloth as the politicians that say one thing but once they get in, they clearly are all about gathering money, sex, and power for themselves. These are not needs of Trump. I conclude that he will die trying to do what he is setting out to do. My vote is for Trump.
Lame analogies don't bother me. I bet you and I will each read 51.4 of them today.
Awesome! Love to see an action figure reference from a fellow Star Wars fan! Cruz truly represents my generation of people born in the 70s, particularly its scholarly conservative wing. I’d walk on hot coals to vote for this guy. Greatest politician EVAH!
Kids are cute & act well.
Outside of them it’s a yawner.
Cruz runs a serious risk of getting a very bad rep with his very nasty and dishonest campaign thus far.
CNN is liberal, and to liberals:
1. Truth is whatever serves the Party.
2. If the facts contradict the narrative, the facts are wrong.
3. If you repeat something enough, it becomes true.
I do not think it is a big issue, and it is mostly a local or state issue. However, the candidates attitude toward eminent domain abuse reflects on his/her attitude toward big government, individual liberties, and justice. So it is telling.
The country has a national energy department and energy policy. It doesn’t have a casino department and casino policy.
You just touched on the most important reason I am supporting Trump over Cruz.
I confidently agree with Cruz on about 90% of the issues.
BUT I think he would only be able to implement about 10% of that 90%.
Trump I am MUCH less confident about, BUT lets just say I only end up agreeing with him 50% of the time. But the big difference is, I think Trump would be able to implement about 90% of what he wants.
So ...
10% of 90 = 9
90% of 50 = 45
So... in the end by supporting someone who I might end up only agreeing with 50% of the time I will get 45% of what I want, where supporting someone I agree with 90% of the time would only get me 9% of what I want.
