Trump has given money to the Clintons. Trump has given money to liberal causes. Trump has said he supports LGBT rights. Trump has said he agrees with the Kelo decision.
Do those things mean conservative to you?
You say he is most conservative “in both deed and platform”, but there isn’t any actual evidence of that. Just rhetoric by his supporters.
During the debate Saturday night, he couldn’t even define “conservative”.
These are the types of doubts I have and your answer, full of generalities, hyperbolic statements, and loose interpretations of events, does not give me reassurance.
I noticed the irony of that line myself.
Lets do the math. 2 Democrats running and 8 Republicans running + Gilmore. Of course the votes on the GOP side are going to be watered down.
I agree. Looks like they're pretty much tied at 12% right now. Hope Cruz overtakes him. Bush needs to be embarrassed right into dropping out!

Christie is playing that jungle game. He doesn’t have to out run the Lion, only the slowest guy the Lion is chasing.
His career wasn't in politics, so his past political statements are pretty irrelevant to today and the job at hand. Chipping away at some of the problems this country faces is a big project, and he's the only candidate who has taken on big projects. He's got energy, and he isn't a drunk or a communist.
He's not God, but he's probably the only one available who can at least get some positive things done.
