Yes, regulated and taxed out of existence. There's a reason why John Galt said to Mr. Thompson: deregulate business! Ayn Rand, who escaped Soviet Union, understood the modern method of enslaving free men.

More than any state in the union, California lives on two commodities - water and electricity

Californians think that the water flowing from their taps in San Francisco magically materializes in the pipes and that the electricity that powers the Silicone Valley digital e - World that they are totally dependent upon is generated out of some 5th dimension twilight zone.

So, in the face of the worst drought in decades, they decide to do the most logical and natural of things - tear down the network of dams and reservoirs they depend upon for their lives.

This will not end well.

I don’t need water from dams. It comes from the tap. I don’t need farmers. I get my food at the grocery store. People are ao clueless. Now excuse me while I go study my Noam Chomskey pamphlets -Liberals

China builds the Three Gorgeous and our response is to TEAR DOWN THAT DAM (or dams).

What’s wrong with this picture?

Moving dams would be a heckuva tourist draw.

We have been paying the power company for YEARS for these dam removals on our power bills every month.

The entire thing is a disgusting mess....all the while the libs are crying for more electric cars. Idiots, all.

If you would like more information about what's happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me.

I lost my Oregon list when my computer crashed last year, so please send me your name by FReepmail if you want to be on this list.

Please elaborate. What's in there, and how much of it?

It’s 13.1 million cubic yards with high phosphate and organic matter. The particulates are sufficiently fine-grained as to be a clay, which is badly depleted in America’s soils.

The last estimate I saw was 17,000,000 cu. yds.
...and I can’t dredge because of turbidity.

Why remove the dams? Let them be, if they're structurally sound.

The greenies can build a fish ladder, at their own expense. The dams can continue to generate diminishing amounts of power power until the lakes behind them silt up.

The resulting meadows can be declared a hazardous waste superfund site dedicated to the stupidity of the environmental movement.

why, yes he does, just not as often as he used to . I’m for removing the dams but have concerns about silt and things like that.
