~The FReeper Canteen Presents~ Road Trip: Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida Tyndall Air Force Base is a United States Air Force Base located 12 miles east of Panama City, Florida. The base was named in honor of World War I pilot 1st Lt Frank Benjamin Tyndall. The base operating unit and host wing is the 325th Fighter Wing (325 FW) of the Air Combat Command (ACC). The base is delineated as a census-designated place and had a resident population of 2,994 at the 2010 census. The 325th Fighter Wingâs primary mission is to provide a combat ready air dominance force, train F-22A Raptor pilots and maintenance personnel, and train air battle managers to support the combat Air Force. Tyndall's combat mission is performed by the 95th Fighter Squadron. Training for F-22 pilots is performed in the 43d Fighter Squadron and the 2d Fighter Training Squadron. The 325th Air Control Squadron trains air battle managers for assignment to combat Air Force units. Headquarters, First Air Force at Tyndall is part of the Air Combat Command (ACC), ensuring the air sovereignty and air defense of the continental United States. As the CONUS geographical component of the bi-national North American Aerospace Defense Command and air component of United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), 1 AF also provides airspace surveillance and control and directs all air sovereignty activities for the continental United States. The 21st century proved to be momentous for Tyndall AFB. The base was selected as the first home of the Air Force's newest aircraft, the F-22 Raptor. 2002 brought more change as the Chief of Staff of the Air Force changed the organizational structure of the 325th Fighter Wing, from an objective type wing to a combat organization. This organization moved all maintenance activities under the 325th Maintenance Group and all support activities under the 325th Mission Support Group. Learn More About Tyndall Air Force Base HERE!! She
was silly, and so sweet. I hated losing her but at least she lived a long, healthy life before cancer suddenly got her. Up to that point, she was never sick.
Good night and sweet dreams. This lil vampire has a while before the bat cave calls her name. LOL!

I really like it...winning! LOL!
And I’m reminded at times that NO ONE else wants security. d:o)
Almost never is someone right about saying they didn’t get paid right. I love it!

They’ll be in a pickle when the day comes that you say, “I’m retiring.” Like it or not, someone else WILL get security. LOL!
It’s a matter of being conscientious and wanting to make sure those men get their pay on time and that it’s correct. If it means doing a little of the work on your own time, so be it. I’d do the same thing you’re doing if I had that job.

My boss tells me at least once a week that I’m not allowed to retire. LOL!
And this last couple weeks with EVERYONE sick, and coughing, she told me I couldn’t die before her. d:o)

Guess we need to find that Fountain of Youth so you can live forever, huh? LOL
At least your boss seems to value your work performance. Some would just take it for granted or abuse it.

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska (AFPN) — It was a historic day for Elmendorf as the base officially welcomed the first of its F-22 Raptor fleet during a ceremony here Aug. 8, 2007.
Elmendorf became the second operational base and the first Pacific Air Forces installation to receive the Air Force’s new superiority fighter.
Approximately 40 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered to Elmendorf, with 20 aircraft designated for the 90th Fighter Squadron and the other 20 to the 525th Fighter Squadron which will be activated later this year. The Air Force Reserve will fly the F-22 as part of the 302nd Fighter Squadron.

We did go out to the lake yesterday but it was quite windy. I did have to reboot the wi-fi and the computer a couple of times before we left because we had a couple of power bumps here at the house.
But, we did enjoy the visit. We'll see how things go today. Bo did did for a couple of gophers.
