By using false pretenses that Carson was dropping out. There’s a difference in convincing people to vote for a different candidate and using unconfirmed rumors, tantamount to lying, to get people to change their position. No, politics isn’t beanbag, but it sure makes somone who uses their faith to connect with people look very, very hypocritical. And to still be asking for a private meeting reeks of guilt. Just another slimy politician.
