The NFL's Super Bowl 50 halftime show was embedded with an array of political messages hiding in plain view. From the rainbow theme to the Black Panther suits worn by Beyonce's dancers, the show was meant to celebrate a social platform that took its cues from the Democratic Party in a key presidential election year. "Everything at the Super Bowl halftime show was covered in rainbows, from Coldplay singer Chris Martin's shirt to the stage he was dancing on," noted Seth Millstein, a writer for Bustle.com, a left-of-center website targeting women readers. "At first, it seemed like an arbitrary artistic decision, but the intent became clear at the end. After the performances were over, the audience flipped over rainbow-colored placards that read 'Believe In Love,' a tacit endorsement of marriage equality."
The Super Bowl's pro-"gay" marriage moment was "refreshing and unexpected, and illustrated just how much public sentiment on the issue has changed over the last several years," Millstein gushed, noting that the game was hosted by San Francisco, a bastion of the left. Millstein said he "felt a chill down my spine (the good kind) when I saw 'Believe In Love' displayed so prominently at one of the most popular sports events in America. This was a combination of local pride, I was born and used to live in San Francisco, and the simple reminder of the countryâs progress on LGBTQ acceptance."

In another facet of the NFL's halftime show, female pop star Beyonce and her dancers took on a decidedly anti-cop tone, coming out in Black Panther costumes to perform for millions of viewers around the world...

That’s not the full logo. Where are the rays of sunshine radiating outward and superman logo type border that surrounds it?
When the halftime show is, say, Richard Thompson, Lucinda Williams, Mark Knopfler and the David Grisman Quintet, I’ll be watching.
Will not be holding my breath.
I have to say, Mexican children holding flowers on stage with Cold Play was a nice forced touch.
BTW, I didn’t mean the college logo was an exact match, only that it is a similar style. Oh, and the graphics around in the front of the game commentators’ desk also had that middle East look to it too. I guess I’m just paranoid about undue influence muslims have in this country. I’m sure it’s nothing. Happy FReeping!
Alcohol is only forbidden in the Koran, not in Christianity.
Happily I left the tv at the end of the half, I saw maybe 10 seconds of Coldplay, they sucked as usual.
Thank God I didn’t see Bouncy.
I just love the Puppy Bowl! Lot’s of great action over there. Instant mood elevator.
Beyonce makes too much money fomenting racial tensions in America. I am really surprised they did not propegate the, “hands up don’t shoot” lie. By the way, Beyonce is just plain ugly!
Well, at least they didn’t repaint the Blue Angels F-18’s in Rainbow Colors for the flyover.
Heck, I’m surprised that found enough Children in San Francisco for the Halftime Show.
I also watched the Kitten Bowl..the names they give these cats..Mr. Slippers how freakin cute is that!! But I enjoy the Puppy Bowl more since I have two pups. And the Chicken Cheerleaders! Much more entertaining than that garbage NFL halftime show
I was neutral in the Game.
How does a ball never touches the ground in the middle of field and not a catch?
Anyone see the difference in penalties?
Carolina defense actually outplayed Denver's except for Cam's fumbles.
Then the game is over and Cam can't handle it.
The fined Lynch for no talking what will the NFL do to Cam?
Well, it was in Santa Clara.
Bread and Circuses...
Mostly Circuses ... Easier to propagandize with circuses.
Actually the tip of the downfield end of the ball did touch the ground if you look carefully.
That first Penalty against Caroline was absolutely ridiculous, then they lose a Time Out because their appeal was rejected.
I’m surprised the Referees didn’t have Seeing Eye Dogs.
Despite that, Carolina didn’t protect their QB and that cost them the game, the same way the Patriots lost their Playoff Game. A sacked QB doesn’t make too many great plays.
Not sure what your Post had to do with my F-18 comment, but you asked. LOL
I think the illegals are doing a fine job of increasing the population statewide.
Living in Southern CA, I concur.
