Reiterating his belief that homosexuality is 'not a sin,' the Republican governor of New Jersey signed a bill into law on Monday that bans the use of conversion or reparative therapy, or to otherwise help youth who are struggling with homosexual feelings to overcome their temptations.
Governor Chris Christie's office released a statement during the day outlining that Assembly Bill 3371 had been signed into law following its passage in both state houses in June.
Text of the bill notes that the law bans "the practice of seeking to change a person's sexual orientation, including, but not limited to, efforts to change behaviors, gender identity, or gender expressions, or to reduce or eliminate sexual or romantic attractions or feelings toward a person of the same gender." However, the regulation does not apply to counseling that seeks to affirm homosexual emotions or behaviors.
"Governor Christie is no friend of free speech," said President Brad Dacus. "The question here isn't if sexuality comes from birth or not; the question is 'Should we allow the government to restrict religious and constitutional freedoms because a forceful LGBT lobby says we should?' The answer to that question is a resounding 'No!'"

I still don’t believe that hug was an accident
I don’t want him anywhere near the White House
Me neither.
The north east is totally a different country to down here. I learned that after working up in Boston and NY and was happy to get out of there.
Not only is homosexuality a sin, it is an especially dangerous one.
As with all sex it can dig deeply into brain chemistry. Add in the spiritual element, and there’s a powerful 1-2 knockout. That is why Paul wrote to flee sexual sins. Not to debate them, not to coddle them: flee them.
Romans 1:18-32 accurately describes our times and the men who are being pulled along by the libertine and licentious culture.
“And whether or not you like Rubio â and I prefer our candidate NOT be Rubio â he WAS a solid pro-life voice on that stage the other night.”
Agree, other than him saying kill the baby to save the mother, which is never necessary.
I don’t think anyone disagrees with “life of mother”, but the situation is so rare that it is not really a consideration. I don’t consider taking some variety of cancer treatment that kills a baby to be an abortion. Abortion is the forcible killing and removal of a baby from a womb.
Maybe we should ban morbidly obese people from governorships. It IS unhealthy, after all.
He wasn’t a lovely picture standing behind that podium.
However, be careful with that. A HUGE portion of America is overweight. I’ll bet Christie hopes someone will hit him with that in public. Why? Because it will generate a huge sympathetic backlash from a HUGE portion of America.
Yeah, “born that way” is how it will be spun. Quite a popular term these days.
The RINOcracy goes marching on again. Hurah! Hurah!
Have any of these geniuses in public “service” ever passed biology 101?

News Flash Biggus Cwisteeus:
Rom 1:22-29
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator â who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
NIV
The New Testament says otherwise.
>> But now, politicians think they know better than God, religion and science.
Not ignore instincts.
In CA it’s the Law already.
Parent’s, we don’t need no stinking Parent’s.
Might even apply to Adults, but I’m not sure.
