EXCLUSIVE — Ben Carson: Ted Cruz’s ‘Dirty Tricks’ To Affect Primary Voters
Breitbart ^ | 2/7/2016 | ALEX SWOYER

Posted on 02/07/2016 2:08:10 PM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson suggested that the controversy over Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)'s campaign action during the Iowa caucus might be on the minds of voters ahead of the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday.

"I suspect it may well," Carson told Breitbart News. "We were in church this morning and the minister sort of alluded to it, talking about Christian values and politics."

Just ahead of the vote, the Cruz campaign sent out notes and voicemails to precinct captains telling them to tell Carson voters that he would be suspending his campaign and to support Cruz instead. The Cruz campaign has said it only passed along a news report from CNN.

"I've said all along that the evidence is pretty clear and it should be very easy for people to make a judgment on this," Carson said in response to a CNN statement, which it issued Saturday night that said Cruz "knowingly misstated" CNN's pre-caucus report.

"The only issue is, is this acceptable behavior to voters? Obviously, it's acceptable behavior to Washington politicians," he said.

The Washington Post reported Cruz approached Carson during a commercial break during the debate Saturday night and requested a private meeting.

Carson told Breitbart News that he hopes Cruz dismisses the staff that was involved in spreading the false report.

"I would like to see something happen that would more or less ensure that this kind of thing does not continue to happen," Carson explained when asked what he would like to see come out of a private meeting with Cruz.

"I kind of look at it when you find a problem, you fix it, you just don't sort of sweep it under the rug," Carson explained.

says a lot about Carson.....there is nothing more that Ted Cruz can say or do and needs now to just ignore he issue. Enough is enough. It won't hurt Cruz.

Carson is either being offered a position by Trump or Rubio.

Ben, your constant whining about Cruz is making you look stupid. I know it’s your only way to stay in the spotlight, but just STFU and go away. No one wants you anyway.

Doesn’t matter who worked for whom. Someone screwed up and Cruz won’t admit it.

The “crime” is hypocrisy - denying that anything wrong occurred, but then apologizing for it. If it was wrong, show some leadership by holding someone accountable. If not, then stop apologizing. Cruz is one step away from the “sorry for anyone who might have been offended” non-apology libs are famous for.

As I posted earlier, Cruz should come out and admit it was a mistake and his staff’s tweeting the false CNN information to campaign leaders could have damaged Dr. Carson’s votes in Iowa. And that as a result, the person responsible has been fired from his staff and that he (Cruz) will personally authorize future communications of any similar nature to make sure it doens’t happen again.

That would provide honesty and accountability.

And I mean nothing at all. So how serious is he, really, especially with that huge war chest he’s mounted.

He's taken in a lot... and he spends it nearly as fast as it has come in. The Economist has a new article about how Carson is burning money at a faster rate than other candidate. His consultants are getting rich.

OK, at some point we reach the expiration date on this stuff."""....

That point is today........No more posts about this nonsense. Carson is irrelevant anyway, he was never going to win anything anytime.

Carson is mostly pissed because his paid staff in NH quit a few weeks ago so they could volunteer for Ted Cruz.

“If all Canadians treat blacks like Cruz it’s no wonder they don’t want to go there.”

Well, that plus it’s so cold there.

Team Ted lying on caucus night makes them look like they burned “principled” to ashes on the altar of winning.

What Team Ted did is status quo politics, not “principled” politics.

Carson is becoming a clown. He does know NH is the least religious state in the nation, right?

And it’s not like people are going to say, gee I feel sorry for Carson losing 10 votes in Iowa let me vote for him.

It’s time for him to give it up.

Why would you bring Adventism into this conversation? How does being in a certain location on a Sunday remotely pertain? I’m beginning to find your hash-tag as something akin to a man’s tie. Worn to project a sense of position/class/belief but in practicality worthless. But by all means keep it up. I direct MANY patients and friends to this site to see for themselves how certain cult-like political followers attempt to persuade ‘non-believers’.

Yes. What is that Jesus said to do...hmmm...”cry about it and whine about it and cry some more”.

I don’t think that was it though—Carson must have a different Bible than the rest of us.

I heard on CNN today that Cruz campaign people refuse to go on CNN since Cruz has been called out by them.

AGREE: just shut up CARSON, you are beyond pathetic now.

Cruz apologized (in private as he said in the debate), you asked to him say it publically. He DID, and then you demanded another pound of flesh.

He apologized again IN PUBLIC in the debate, you accepted. NOW you want 2 more pounds of flesh. You Sir are no Christian, if you do not know what forgiveness means.

BTW Mr. Carson, what was that little stint you pulled last night standing like a dunce, YOU heard them call you name and you waited (you KNOW they called your name), then comes STRUMP. Was that planned Mr. Carson, sure looked like it to me.

Strump says BEN when they call your name, hold up and wait for me, and you kept turning around to see who was next. That was a set up by Strump and you knew it.

So CNN’s report had nothing to do with it? And Carson whining about it after accepting the apology is the “Christian thing to do”.

He’s a clown.

Why’d Cruz apologize ? ...because he felt his staff should have caught and corrected the clarification. That came soon on twitter but much later on CNN.

I saw it on CNN and would have done exactly what team Cruz did and felt I’d done the right and honorable thing.

Shared responsibility, mostly with CNN’s anchors, then the CNN reporter/tweeter, then Carson, and lastly Cruz’s top people....in that order....most to least.

Get off his case....he’s got the brains, eloquence, and guts to cut government, save the judiciary and courts, and promote real conservatism plus all the other campaign promises in the discussion; ie. Obiecare, the border, spending and taxes....with an evangelical bent. Why in God’s name isn’t he appreciated here?

Is it Trump or nothing? We’ve got to get our side on the same page. If we don’t, we don’t deserve to win. Trump worries me but I’ll support him big time. Or Carson, or Rubio, or Yeb, or Christie, or Katich.

So reporting a CNN story is now the same as a serial killer.

OMG...this place is going the way of DU! Seriously it’s getting so hard to visit FR lately. Trump’s vile personal attacks have rubbed off on his followers and Carson’s whining has done the same with his 10 followers.

Can we please get back to the issues everyone?

OK, at some point we reach the expiration date on this stuff

ROTFL. And just what is the "expiration date" on Rubio's college antics? On Trump's colorful journey to get to where he is today? And you want an expiration date of less than a week?

Carson should not have indicated to the news media that he was dropping out; which he did.
