The Classiest Debate Moment That No-One Noticed – Never Leave A Good Man Down
theconservativetreehouse.com ^ | February 7

Few people will talk about this, and fewer will even want to acknowledge it, but what Donald Trump did before the debate even began shows the measure of a real man's worth.

Trump and Carson

At the beginning of the ABC debate, each of the candidates were being introduced in a specific order. The first name called to the stage was Chris Christie. The applause was loud and lingered through the time when Martha Raddatz called the second candidate Ben Carson.

Dr. Carson did not hear his name called (easy to understand why when you listen to the video) and stood in the entry-way. The moderators, with their backs to the candidates, didn't notice his absence and called the third name on the list, Ted Cruz.

Ted walked past Dr. Carson and onto the stage. Carson remained in the awkward, and embarrassing position, 'no-mans-land', on-camera but out of sight of the live audience.

What happened next shows the remarkable character of Donald Trump.

The fourth name called was Donald Trump, but by then the back-stage crew and candidates were aware of Dr. Carsons' position. Trump slowly approached, and then realized the embarrassing position of a fellow candidate hanging in the wind.

Trump showed his leadership by standing right next to his friend, and not walking onto the stage.

The other names continued to be called, and proceeded as mentioned. But not Donald Trump, he remained with his colleague thereby reducing the internal anxiety felt by Carson.

It would have been very easy for Trump to walk by Ben, just like all the other candidates did. But instead he chose to wait, and remove the embarrassment factor by infinite magnitudes.

Then, like a boss, when Dr. Carson was called to the stage, Trump waited and allowed Ben to get the audience response and appreciation. It takes a lot of courage to make split second decisions like this, and it shows a remarkable insight into the man's character.

Its too bad you are unable to acknowledge a selfless act when you witness it. There is a reason Donald Trump has $10 billion and you don’t. He’s a natural born leader and that’s what leaders do they take care of a problem. They don’t stop to think about it they just do it. That’s the kind of guy we need in the Whitehouse.

Trump is NOT a smarmy politician...he is a normal guy, albeit rich...he does really care about the country and it’s people, I believe...
The politicians seem to care only about themselves....

From the confused expressions, it was clearly a case where the noise level was so high the candidates could not hear what was being said by the moderators.

Poor state management by ABC. Class act, Trump.

“Where is the video of DJT dropping the F-bomb at a rally attended by women & kids?”

There isn’t one because he didn’t.
That was just another lie someone posted.

The bottom line- Trump lives in the moment, and has the instinct to act with class. As the others walked by I’m sure that he mused about their need for acceptance and praise. He chose the path few take, he stood with a colleague left hanging in the wind.

Somehow your description brings to mind the story of the Good Samaritan. The priest and the rabbi passed him by, the Samaritan stayed by the guy lying there. Trump is the Good Samaritan!

Trump was late getting back from the bathroom and didn’t hear his name called. He had done disgusting things - I’m not even going to talk about it.

It didn't hurt DT and was a boost for undecided TV viewers who saw and understood what was happening. No big deal...but it is revealing to some people.

I’m going to be so happy on Wednesday morning. It’s getting tiresome, but we all the Cruzers are going to be biggest sour grapes losers and end up not voting, if they have to vote for Trump.

Reminds me, just like when Reagan ran in 1980. They called him Bonzo, and a monkey etc. Then when he won a few races... and then a few more...and put Carter in his place...They warmed up to him.

It will be the same with Trump.

Many of us see two sides to Trump. He’s a Gemini, so maybe there’s some truth this astrology stuff. One day he comes out as the angry guy, the next he’s moved on.

Not say I like that trait in a person but the Gemninis I’ve known are brutally honest. They get their feelings hurt real easy, and they fight back rather than take your insults.

Because nothing says class more then dropping the F bomb at a rally attended by women and kids.

Hey you Trump-hating asshat, that never happened. Go watch the videos and see for yourself, and stop carrying the libtard media's water for them.
