I’m going to be so happy on Wednesday morning. It’s getting tiresome, but we all the Cruzers are going to be biggest sour grapes losers and end up not voting, if they have to vote for Trump.

Reminds me, just like when Reagan ran in 1980. They called him Bonzo, and a monkey etc. Then when he won a few races... and then a few more...and put Carter in his place...They warmed up to him.

It will be the same with Trump.

Many of us see two sides to Trump. He’s a Gemini, so maybe there’s some truth this astrology stuff. One day he comes out as the angry guy, the next he’s moved on.

Not say I like that trait in a person but the Gemninis I’ve known are brutally honest. They get their feelings hurt real easy, and they fight back rather than take your insults.

The parallels to 1980 are amazing. The nation is mired in mediocre leadership (from both parties) and along comes a real leader who is marginalized and ridiculed because he does not fit the traditional profile of a presidential candidate.

Yes, they really made fun of Reagan for co-starring in B-movies with a chimpanzee (and the chimp upstaged him!). His supporters were mostly uneducated rubes and if he managed to get us elected, why he would bumble us into World War 3 for sure.

While he was considered the frontrunner almost from the day he entered the race, he was "humbled" in Iowa by a close second place finish and until he won in NH by a wide margin, his candidacy was considered to be on the ropes.

But they did warm up to him in the end. We'll see if it plays out the same way here.

Donald Trump was born June 14, 1946. I was born the same day in 1952.

June 14 is Flag Day. A great day for a POTUS to be born!
