Ben Carson said late Saturday that Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas approached him during an off-camera break at ABC’s Republican debate to apologize for his campaign’s conduct during the Iowa caucuses and requested a one-on-one meeting with him.
“He said he’s sorry that this happened and he wants to sit down and talk,†Carson said in an interview with The Washington Post. “He wants to discuss the whole thing and clear the air.â€
In the interview, Carson said pointedly that if the meeting with Cruz is scheduled, that does not mean the the senator will be absolved.
“The evidence is there,†he said, citing voice-mails that his campaign has released of Cruz allies telling caucus-goers that Carson was likely to suspend his bid. “Tapes, written communications, it’s all out there. People have to decide whether this kind of behavior is acceptable to them.â€

I am sorry, but Trump did say he was an Evangelical on TV. Who cares what flavor anyway. Truely as Evangelical is a very broad spectrum, who cares beyond the basic statement of faith. Not quite sure why you deny that, perhaps it is something that is an issue to you. I can respect that.

You had asked what law Ted had broken. He was supposedly running as the most Christian candidate in the mix and yet he wronged Dr. Ben Carson and has not (yet) made amends. You discounted the holy commandment without so much as a by your leave.
Do you understand the second greatest commandment ? Do you still contend it does not apply to Ted Cruz ?

Do I need to explain to you how a candidate running on his Christian profession is breaking the law when he violates the second greatest commandment ? Or did you not recognize the commandment, it not being written in your heart and mind ? Or is Rafael (his given birth name, as Barack is Obama's) not behaving as a brother in the campaign ? Or dos he think Dr. Carson is not really a brother because of his being Seventh Day Adventism or not a Good Samaitan ?

The bottom line here is that if Trump had done this, you would be applauding him, saying that he's a fighter and he's in it to win. But when Cruz does it, the hypocrisy kicks in.

The same people around here who have, for 8 years, chided Obama for scapegoating people, are now demanding Cruz do the same. He won’t do it. He took responsibility for the miscommunication that originated with Carson.
He apologized, PUBLICLY, twice at least. If he hadn’t, you guys would be flipping out that he didn’t even apologize. But when he does, you guys AND Carson AND the media, use it against him. It doesn’t matter what he does at this point NONE of you bloodthirsty guys will be satiated. Because your goal is to take him out no matter what. No matter what the truth is.

Can’t forward an update you don’t get. Bottom line. It was obvious he was sorry that it happened to begin with.
Why would they even do it on purpose? Makes no sense. They stood up in front of everyone according to some people and announced the CNN report. And yet they were being sneaky and making stuff up? The eye of the world were upon them that night, media and individual private cameras EVERYWHERE. Just think a minute about what makes sense here.
So Cruz, in his evilness, contrived this wicked plan to announce Carson was taking a break, and well, lucky him if Carson didn’t do just that playing right into his hands. He must be able to see the future.
So then, Ted went and coerced his staff to do lie and say carson was taking a break, except get this, that’s EXACTLY WHAT carson told CNN and EXACTLY what he did. Well, he had to add some sympathy media stops in his way to R AND R.
I’m still waiting for the name of the pro-Trump Facebook group you claim was upset with Trump’s closing statement in the debate. I won’t claim you have been posting misleading information because you very well may be right and it is somehow too difficult for you to accomplish posting the name. But the inference is strong.
