Republican presidential candidate Donald Trumpâs lead widened in New Hampshire just days before the primary, according to the latest CNN/WMUR tracking poll.
Thirty-three percent of likely Republican primary voters said they support Trump, giving the billionaire a 17-point lead over his closest GOP rival. Trump gained 5 points from a similar tracking poll last week.
Trump now has more than double the support of Sen. Marco Rubio, who came in second with 16 percent support.
Sen. Ted Cruz has 14 percent for third place.
Gov. John Kasich follows with 11 percent, while no other GOP candidate broke single-digit support.
The poll, according to CNN, was completed as Saturdayâs debate in New Hampshire started.

If Trump wins by 15 points, the media will declare it a horrible night in which Trump failed to meet expectations.
Let them. They act like Cruz’s win of 4 points and questionable win as some triumphant result. The media has always been tough on Trump and easy on Cruz.
In a primary the Trump effect will reveal even more support. Look for him to win by 20.
I don’t hear any media being easy on Cruz.
Maybe I’m not listening to the right ones.
Up here, we’ve been ready to vote since July.
We’re spitting on our hands, hoisting the black flag, and are ready to start slitting throats.
GO TRUMP!!!
Who on earth are you watching/listening to???
The entire week’s media cycle was this: Cruz cheated, Cruz is a nasty guy, Cruz is terrible. All fueled by the incoherent writings of a raving lunatic on Twitter.
Trump comes across as bipolar almost, the media joins in and slams Cruz, with the only remaining story being the “amazing” third place finish of Rubio...
Had your boy done his job (as he claimed he could) the narrative would have been how Iowa was the end of Senator Cruz. And the character of Trump would have continued to shine thru, smearing the other losers left and right...
Instead, the media wants to divert your attention from the political beating Trump took in Iowa, losing with literally a 14 point swing from polling to actual results.
I have this gut feeling, the Donald’s about to be humbled...once again.
Polling wise Trump was supposed to win big in Iowa. That is why a 4 point Cruz win was considered a big deal. Anything other than a big win in NH will be a loss for Trump. It’s about the story not reality. We’re talking the media here after all.
PING self
Either way to the media, he loses.

If you take out cheating, trump won and every voter knows it now.
I fully expect Trump to win NH. NH also picked Romney and McCain over the more conservative candidates in those races. I see nothing that changes that behavior this election cycle.
I have this gut feeling, the Donaldâs about to be humbled...once again.
His competition crashed and burned.
TRUMP/CRUZ!!
AMERICA SOARS AGAIN INTO ASCENDANCY!!
THE STOCK MARKET SOARS INTO ASCENDANCY!!
THE U.S. ECONOMY SOARS INTO ASCENDANCY!!
THOSE WHO LOVE THE AMERICAN DREAM BREATHE A SIGH OF RELIEF AND CHEER!
And the evil, the satanists, the neo-Nazis, the Marxists, the decadent, the racists, the dictators, the tyrants, those who hate, the psychopaths, America's enemies--all slither back into their dark holes, cursing Truth and The Light, as their hopes for the conquest of evil in the world dissolve into nothingness!
AMERICA WILL SAVE THE WORLD FROM DESTRUCTION YET AGAIN!!
“I have this gut feeling, the Donaldâs about to be humbled...once again.”
Gut Feeling=Fervent Hope! Nothing more!
LOL. When the hell was Trump ever humbled?
The only real question is who will finish second.
Rubio, Cruz or Christie?
Had Rubio had a good debate then I might be inclined to agree with you, but his implosion last night ended that. Trump wins New Hampshire easily and it sets up South Carolina as the real Trump vs. Cruz battle.
