Sen. Ted Cruz won the New Hampshire GOP debate. Cruz managed to stay above the hand to hand combat between the desperate governors and Sen Marco Rubio and Donald Trump. He gave great answers to the ABC News moderators, some of whom spent the night fishing for sound bites that could be used to help the Democrats' eventual nominee.
Gov. Chris Christie went after Sen. Marco Rubio early and seemed to rattle him. Unfortunately Christie came across as...

“uncouth”
YOU
have a tag that many find offensive.
Using the name of the Deity that many will not speak or spell.
and then ‘guts’.....
that is an uncouth word - as much as the common term for manure.
You should clean up your act.
Can't stand his voice. It's like hearing a recording.
What’s this depth you seek?
It comes from a belt buckle that says “God, Guns, and Guts made America free”.
I think it is absolutely true, and it puts a smile on my face every time I wear it, a scowl on lib faces every time they see it (which also gives me great pleasure)...so I think I will stick with my screen name thank you very much.
TPP has not been ratified by Congress.
Are you still in Canada?
I’m a Cruz supporter and I don’t think he won. Neither did Trump or Rubio. IMO Christie came out the bigger winner. It won’t matter because no one supports him, but he did the best.
Cruz survived the first two questions, which was all he needed I guess, but his performance wasn’t that strong.
Trump did surpisingly poorly despite doing well in most other debates.
Rubio lost as a direct result of Christie being the winner.
I guess you could call Bush a winner too for not coming out of it bleeding from Trump inflicted wounds and actually landing a shot on the guy. It is a pretty low bar for him to get over, but expectations are pretty low. For Bush, like Christie it doesn’t matter. He’s done.
It will be.
Also, the gaslighting responses were sent out before the debate.
Cruz doesn’t show much depth, but the Cruz folks love to say that because it sounds good.
Imagine if this were a D debate run by a Republican network and they kept one candidate off the stage, due to their version of polls? And that candidate who has a delegate, came in with more votes than the Governors in the Iowa caucus and is the only woman candidate, what would the libs, press, congress, POTUS be saying or doing to that network?
Red State? Red State is lol, total garbage.

Cruz did answer the question, and pointed out why he was giving the answer he was, at that moment, giving as an answer - Cruz: “...who can have the judgment when to engage and when not to engage — both are incredibly important for a commander-in-chief, knowing how to go after our enemies.” Cruz is a very smart man, so we have to listen closely.
LOL
I wouldn’t expect you to change.
It is a function of your unmannerliness.
I am a bit surprised that you can see your belt buckle.
“When I say saturation carpet bombing, that’s not indiscriminate!” â Ted Cruz
Cruz is head and shoulders above the rest of the field.
When Cruz refused to answer the question on why he thought Trump didn’t have the temperament to be president, Cruz lost the debate. He wimped out.
We shall soon see if NH voters think he won the debate when they
vote on Tuesday.
