Sunday, February 7, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Plymouth, NH at Plymouth State University at ALLWell North. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM EST.
Trump moves more inland today for an early rally, and again it's at a small venue.
Here's some interesting history.
This was the case in every New England state. The early settlers drove the Indians out physically during the Queen Anne's War. Plymouth was originally the site of an Abenaki village that was burned to the ground by Captain Thomas Baker in 1712.
In 1806, then-lawyer Daniel Webster lost his first criminal case at the Plymouth courthouse, which now houses the Historical Society. The author Nathaniel Hawthorne, while on vacation in 1864 with former U.S. President Franklin Pierce, died in Plymouth at the second Pemigewasset House, which was later destroyed by fire in 1909. In the early 20th century, the Draper and Maynard Sporting Goods Company (D&M) sold products directly to the Boston Red Sox, and players such as Babe Ruth would regularly visit to pick out their equipment.

Mike guy is in trouble.
I agree with Rush that skipping the Iowa debate is not why Trump came in second. Iowa always goes for the son of the preacher man.

On this other "matter", perhaps there are issues we just don't know about ... LOL
I could not agree with you more. Trump is the only one that I believe can change this horrible course we are on. This campaign cycle has been a complete eye-opener for me. I have never seen so many masks fall off so fast and have changed my opinion on so many people that I thought had at least a semblance of integrity and intelligence. Take care.
ooops? You haven heard?
Scorpios born in the last third are are the GOOD ones; not as evil as the others.
Thank you AuntB. Missed it the first time.
:)
Yes, that poor thing has problems...lots of them; especially when near me! LOL
Trump has managed to pull back the curtain and expose SO much! And as president, he'll do even MORE of that! That's part of the reason that this nation and the world, needs him NOW!
It really is a beautiful state! Waterfalls, lots of trees, mountains, many lakes (even in the Seattle area), and tons of flowers. I grew up in Denver and we’d see a couple of tulips and go - Oh, it’s Spring, look at the flowers. I couldn’t get over my 1st Spring here and still and in awe after many years - Hibiscus will start blooming soon then daffodils, iris, azalea, Andromeda, tulip trees, cherry and apple blossoms, Rhododendrons, and on and on. And, summer is gorgeous with lots more flowers and the non-evergreen trees fill out. LOL - I sound like a member of the Visitor Center.
Yes, the Pacific water is very cold - even in the summer. We have been going to the International Kite Festival in Long Beach, WA every year in August for a number of years. LB is about as far south as you can go and still be in WA State - I think the water is too cold but my nephew and our friends kids never seem to mind - they have a blast.
I just wish our politics were more aligned with those in Texas. The eastern part of the state is fairly conservative as are some of the Seattle suburbs, but the I-5 corridor (coming up from CA) - Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, Everett is very liberal (but then we’ve had a lot of people move in from CA and a few other lib areas over the years - bah!)
Heard WHAT ?
Just tell us, already. PM if you have to. TIA.
Yes, it’s always great to think back and relive great memories. I do that with my sister frequently as well as other family members around various holidays and family celebrations. I’m very blessed to have my sister and her family close by and we have cousins and their families in the area. My cousins are like brothers to us. I get a kick out of reliving stories of our childhood in front of my cousins and their wives and kids and everyone does, too (even though I may embarrass my cousins from time to time).
Well THAT was a strange “hit & run” post. LOL
“Iâm Sagittarius...”
Some of my good friends and a few boyfriends have been Sagittarius, but believe me, I never ever want to get on your bad side - Sags have stinging tails ;-)
.@DiamondandSilk don't want another BROKE president. We want
someone who signs the Front of the checks, not the back!
