Army and Marine Corps leaders swapped pledges with members of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday not to cave to political pressure and relax ground combat skill requirements so that more women will qualify to serve in infantry, armor and special forces units.
Certainty that such pressure will come, and the need to resist to protect combat effectiveness, was expressed both by senators and witnesses during the first congressional hearing held to review how Army and Marine Corps plan to open all ground combat jobs to women.
No senator on the committee suggested Congress should block the Dec. 3 order from Defense Secretary Ash Carter to open the most brutal jobs in the military to women who meet gender-neutral standards for each skill. Indeed, the clear consensus was that no woman should be denied access to any military job based solely on gender.

I’m sick of hearing how women should go into combat units and if they do the same test then what is the problem.
Well first that the women in ranger school failed and then was given another attempt. When the Army was asked to show their paper work to see if she got any special treatment the Army said they could not find the paper work and some of the instructors there said she did get special treatment.
Secondly.
Many of us who have served in a combat unit know full well that some of the men and her will flirt with each other. This has happened in my experience. it causes drama, it causes the unit to break down as people take sides. Also while on patrol doing mountain and Arctic warfare in air temps of -30 we had to wait for her to go to the bathroom ,it was that time of the year for her. Her blood left a trail for animals to come to the snow holes.
It does not work and if Cater had any kind of respect for the military then he would announce to let the Army test it , instead of forcing the Marines to accept it when they do not want it. Just like having on homosexuals should have been.
Americans would rather all die than to give up egalitarianism. Look who was elected President-TWICE! You are witnessing a true death wish for a civilization. To put it another way the West wants to die collectively and individually.

The military is not a laboratory for social experimentation, neither is active duty assignment a test of our commitment to democracy or a canvas on which to practice "paint-by-numbers" distributive democracy.

The next President should change all this crap citing that they have looked at the documents and surveys and the social experiment of homosexuals and women in combat has not worked. Men are being raped much more in the military since don’t ask was overturned.
Yeah, I hate even to think about the stink of having to ferret out those perps and deal with them under UCMJ. It is a stain, a blot on our military. Can you imagine crap like that happening in Patton's Seventh Army when he was campaigning in Silicy or Tunisia?
The perps need to be court-martialed and shot.
Then we need to turn our attention to the s.o.b.'s who ordered that these people be catered to. Time to dig into Chinagate and DADT. Time to dig into Obama's shameful past, into Benghazi, into all of it.
I still want to know what happened to SEAL Team 6, so soon after OBL was taken out.

I want the next President to look at all of what has happened and do the investigations which are needed.
The last 7 years has been nothing but corruption and lies. Overturning DADT based on nothing when he was told he would hurt and if he wanted it why not let the certain services to do a trial like the Army. Every marine including my oldest does not want it , nor do they want women with them in combat units.
I want people held accountable and dealt with. I want the president to be tough and use the facts to present to the public, including he ignorant public out there. If the homonazis want to have a hissy fit then so be it.
Their time should be up.
