Running a country is not like being a real estate developer or being a governor, Marco Rubio said Friday, firing back on the notion that his political career, and degrees of experience for that matter, are a liability rather than an asset.
During an interview with NBC News, the freshman Florida senator brushed aside concerns that he is "too scripted" and made his case for being the best Republican candidate, arguing that he gives the party the best chance to unify and expand the party and defeat Hillary Clinton in the general election.
He went on to add that "no one running for president is better prepared, has more experience, has shown better judgment, or better understanding than I have, and that is the most important job of a president."

precioso.
I’m not warming to the little man.
Sounds perfect.
Time for Trumpettes and Cruzettes to minimize Rube, instead of each other!
Well there was that time in the state leg. Where he stole money from the party by using a Party Crefit Card to pay for personal items
So I guess he is the most qualified to steal other people’s money!
ast time I paid attention to him was when he said....”I hate my job”. And he wants to be President?
So I guess he is the most qualified to steal other people money!
Politicians spend OPM to get elected and get addicted to it like the Clintoons. So they stay in politics spending OPM on themselves and to get re elected.
What does he even know about being a senator?
Plus we DO need people that know how to create wealth
A reasonable question to ask candidates for the presidency (or any other elective office for that matter) would be, “What are your life achievements in some field outside government and the legal profession?”. In politics and law, it seems that playing fast and loose with the truth too often leads to “success”.
The problem with Cruz and Rubio is that they get paid whether they succeed or fail.
They have failed at everything. Do not have concrete accomplishments but they still get paid, collect their benefits and are on the senator’s gravy train. No one ever gets fired in their world.
They would make horrible presidents.
Like ‘im too, except for the in-state criminal pandering, George Z. (Pam should have been out on her keister), even MORE for ‘education’ and doing nothing about the unions/etc.
Still, IMO, better than Bush and LEAPS above ol’ Crist,
It is also not like being a lawyer.
And how is it like being a Senator. Especially a part-time Senator.
Whens the last time we had a life long businessman as POTUS and not a life long sleazy politician?
I forgot about that.
“That’s why I’m missing votes. Because I am leaving the Senate. I am not running for reelection,” Rubio said in the last Republican debate, after Donald Trump had mocked him for his unusual number of absences during Senate votes.
FUMR
So, a businessman can run a government even though he isnt slick like a greasy poitician?
Accually, Snyder hasproblems in Mi, although he has done his best there and managed to turn the state around. Keep in mind he resides in a state that had been run by the bitch from Canada who virtually destroyed the state.
This cannot be repeated enough. They can always go back to bashing each other after Rubio is eliminated.
Someone on the Democrat side is eventually going ask Marco Rubio about the ‘foam parties’ and the nightclubs that he used to frequent.
The press isn’t likely to keep silent on his past, unlike the lack of interest they have in the Obama ‘Mans Country Chicago’ stories.
