Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was critical of President Obama's visit to a Baltimore mosque during a Friday speech here in Florence, S.C., saying that the president "goes to a mosque and apologizes" as Americans are targeted by terrorists.
"Where did they come from?" Trump asked as he spoke about the November terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, Calif., referencing the attackers who carried out the killings.
"And then President Obama yesterday goes to a mosque and he apologizes. I mean, what's going on?" he added as the crowd booed.

That’s what I figured. WP kinda threw that in there with no explanation about who was getting booed. Typical of them.
Finally, Trump aims his fire where it belongs.
Trump has to do business and get permits in NYC. He is not going to trash the person who can stop those business investments. He was not a pundit or politician.
Well, if he said those things BEFORE the communist was elected, in an effort to protect his own personal interests should the communist actually be elected, why then would he say this AFTER he was elected...

From the New York Daily News:
"N.Y.C. has the worst Mayor in the United States. I hate watching what is happening with the dirty streets, the homeless and crime! Disgrace," the 2016 Republican frontrunner tweeted.

Trump was betting on the right horse. His main opponent only got about 24% of the vote.
But I asked you why he would then have attacked de Blasio AFTER he was elected, when he actually was the mayor.
As for breaking records, 1) it’s interesting that the vaunted Cruz “ground game” STILL left 13% of its voters at home, and b) that collectively Trump and Cruz did not get out an astounding 37% of the voters who expressed an interest in voting. Now, talk about a real tsunami. If you get THOSE voters out in November, game over.
I suppose it would be because the results of his mayorship are evident. I read that public urination will be made legal. Isn’t that just grand. They do that in third world countries and some parts of Europe.
I've lived in New York City all of my life, but I think they want to (or already did?) reduce the penalty from a misdemeanor to a simple violation.
In any case, there is a problem with places to go in NYC. But public restrooms, open 24/7, would be crime traps. That plus they'll soon make a disgusting mess out of them. Even in public restrooms in such places as museums and universities you see pee and other stuff on the floor and the seat. A lot of people don't even bother to flush.
For the life of me I can’t understand why you have such a hard time comprehending Trump when he was a contractor and trump now as a politician.
I don’t care if deep down he was a conservative republican, as a contractor he is never going to allow his inner feelings to show when he lives and works in a liberal community. He is going to appear just as liberal as the local politicians do. Not because he wants to get reelected but because he knows that he is going to need their support when he wants to build a large building that is going to require assistance from the local government.
He is going to contribute to the local, state and federal governments. He is going to make friends with the politicians and upper elite residents because these are the people whose support that he needs. In other words he is going to kiss ass with anyone he feels that someday he may need their support.
My guess is now that he is a grandfather and he sees that America is headed straight for the sewer, he believes that he personally has something to contribute to make it change course. Not for you and me but primarily for his own family.
He’s smart and he proven to himself that making money isn’t all that hard to do. So now he wants to make life better for his grandkids.
Now, talk about a real tsunami. If you get THOSE voters out in November, game over.
As I have said, grassroots matter.
