LONDONBERRY, NH
Londonderry is a town in western Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The town is bordered on the north by the city of Manchester and on the east by the town of Derry. The population is ONLY 24,129 at the 2010 census. Trump again is going to these little townsâ¦. :=)
Londonderry lies in an area that was first known as "Nutfield" because of the dense woods with nut trees. The town was settled in 1718 by Scots-Irish settlers, many of whom had left their homes in Londonderry in the Province of Ulster in the north of Ireland, and arrived in Boston in 1718 to start a new life without religious wars and persecution. In 1722, the town was chartered and given the name "Londonderry".
FLORANCE, SC
Florence, SC is located in Florence County, South Carolina, United States. The city is the county seat of the Florence County and the primary city within the Florence metropolitan area. The area forms the core of the historical "Pee Dee" region of South Carolina, which includes the eight counties of northeastern South Carolina, along with sections of southeastern North Carolina. The U.S. Census Bureau estimated the city's population at 37,326.
Today's Trivia
1. Who sang "Hello Mary Lou"? 3pts
2. Who wrote, "In the Heat of the Summer"? 15pts
3. Who wrote, "Baby You've Been On My Mind?" 5pts
4. Who were, "Ian & Sylvia."? 5 pts
Me too went there because I knew I would probably never get to the Irish town of same name where grandpas family came from.
New Hampshire is so full of history and quaint communities
Good morning, Onyx!
I am so used to putting Fox & Friends on each morning, I forget about Morning Joe - though did remember to switch to him a few times this week. Haven’t watched MSNBC or CNN in years but have been switching a bit lately because FReepers have been saying they’ve been doing a good job (and Joe seems like he leans towards Trump).
I happen to switch to Cooper last night and saw at least some of the Trump interview - thought he did quite well! Will have to remember to turn it on to see the other half tonight.
Thank you for the link.
I’m getting bored with Morning Joe.
Going to speed through the show ... to see the guests.
Yes!

I often wonder if someone from his campaign reads these threads because of timing. Several here will make certain comments then he seems to follow the advice.
Of course, it could be that everyone is saying the same thing.
LOL! Yes!
When Onyx met DT she mentioned FR to him. Will let her give the details
You know you have something there. I posted something about where are the New York polls? And Trump is going to win New York and I posted a photo of Madison Square Garden filled to the gills, and captioned it Trump Rally in April, and that very day he talked about taking New York.
I’ve always been interested, not just music of all types, but the “behind the scenes people” - from the producers to the recording & mastering engineers to the songwriters.
A friend who is a well known mastering engineer based in LA began as a business partner on a few of his re-mastering projects. He has been kind enough to burn CDRs from the raw studio master tapes of legendary artists and classic albums including unreleased studio demos (i.e. Beatles, Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee and so many more). Priceless treasures in addition to knowing who are some of the people behind the recoirding. My friend remastered some Ray Charles albums and the stories he told were LOL funny.
Sometimes the most trivial information is readily available from your brain and other times trying to remember where you laid your keys just 5 minutes ago can be a challenge.
For whatever reason, that GP info just burst forth....now where in the heck are my keys?
Hahaha. I just noticed that I wrote the name of the town wrong! LoL
Katie Pavlich - don’t know who got involved with the bloody Megyn, but I’ve seen her on Fox a lot, including on Outnumbered and the Five, and was always impressed with her - she seemed so well spoken, conservative and quick thinking for someone that’s fairly young. I couldn’t believe that she was part of the Gang of 22 - I was so disappointed in her! Wondering if there was pressure at Townhall and/or NRO to get those 22 to write anti-Trump articles.
Here’s more on Katie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katie_Pavlich
I asked the Moderator to please correct the spelling for me. Very funny. I guess I was half asleep when I posted this.
Wow - lucky to have such a friend!
“Sometimes the most trivial information is readily available from your brain and other times trying to remember where you laid your keys just 5 minutes ago can be a challenge.”
That is so true!! Also, now what did I walk in this room to get or do?
âIn the Heat of the Summerâ & âBaby Youâve Been On My Mind?â
Those 2 don’t register in my brain - will be eager to see who gets the answers.
Yes! They were big in the 60s. Married then divorced.
She wrote “Got Up This Morning, You WEre ON My Mind.”
He wrote tons of great songs, “Someday Soon,” “Four Strong Winds.”
Ricky Nelson, was really ahead of the curve. Very tragic when he died.
Yes, all of New England is historical and I liked some of the smaller towns, like Londonderry, much more than the larger cities. My family traveled to Warren/Barrington, Rhode Island every other summer to visit my maternal grandparents so I’ve seen almost all of New England.
Hint:One written by probably the most gifted song writer of all time. He still does concerts. The other by another gifted song writer of the 60s who died. Both songs were written in the 60s. In the Heat of the Summer Lyrics sounds like it could be written about what happened last Summer.
Great, they corrected the headline spelling for me. Thank you!!!! Still misspelled in the photo I captioned. lol
“When Onyx met DT she mentioned FR to him. Will let her give the details”
Unfortunately, if Trump ever stumbles upon Free Republic he’ll think it’s an anti-Trump hit piece site, given the sheer degree of anti-Trump propaganda here.
I DON’T THINK SO DARLING!
Thats Trumps exact words. He handled it perfectly with an explanation.
