Evening, radu! Finally trying to relax after my long drive home. My kitties are sleeping by my side as I sit in the bed. I think they were glad to see me. :)

Howdy, LUV.
I didn’t know if you’d have any steam for FReeping tonight after your long day. Glad you made it home safe and sond. And of COURSE, the kittehs are happy to have you where you belong - - where they can snuggle up with you. :-)

The Reefer Song--Rosetta Howard & the Harlem Hamfats (1937)

Thanks to a rather nasty cold I picked up in Seattle this past weekend, I'm too wrung out to do Rockumentary with all the research that it entails. So I'm going to do some classical stuff from the Winter Festival tomorrow night before "Sleepy Hollow" comes on. Single movements from certain pieces I heard at the festival.

I'm doing fine, watching a movie, relaxing and FReeping.
I'm looking forward to visiting my daughter this weekend in Seattle.
I'm bringing her purple carnations, (her favorite color) as an early valentines day gift.

The Man from Harlem--Cab Calloway & the Cotton Club Orchestra (1932)
"Come on, sister,
Light up one of these weeds and get high,
And forget about everything"
When Bill Clinton set up an office in Harlem following his presidency, Hugh Hewitt played this tune on his radio show right after I sent him an e-mail suggesting it.
