In a striking reversal of rhetoric, Donald Trump would not rule out Ted Cruz as his hypothetical vice-presidential pick.
"Well, I don"t know. Look, I have nothing against him. It was sort of a sad thing that happened, but I'"ve always liked him," Trump told Hugh Hewitt on his radio show Thursday, after weeks of trashing his primary rival as nasty, hypocritical and disliked.
Trump added that he has "always gotten along well" with Cruz, but that "I'm so much now focused on New Hampshire."

..... Is he going to do this after he decides on a Third Party run?
CRuz is damaged and untrusTED.
IIRC, weren’t common law jus soli questions usually centered more on the sovereignty of the king (or government) ruling the territory rather than some specific status like “state” vs. “territory”?
He might do that. But don’t you think he would really get things done? You honestly don’t think he wouldn’t have contractors on the border day 1....apparently the bill has been passed in 2005 or something but never used. You don’t think he would fix the VISA procedures? You don’t think he would kill every ISIS person he could in a relatively quick time? You don’t think he would slash the budget? I think for this election those are the 4 items of most importance. If he did those 4 things and didn’t do another thing, he would be a complete success. Don’t you think?
“Why would the Democrats pick up the birther cause when there are so many Republicans doing it for them?”
Suits have already been filed in several states.
Trump spent five months or so saying Trump was eligible. Now he isn't eligible?
You say Cruz has to fix it. How can he fix it?
Inserting your screen name into the image shows what this BS is all about.
A Senate resolution is irrelevant since it cannot change a constitutional stipulation.
Even a court case would have to be upheld by the Supreme Court to be put to rest finally.
.
McCain was born in Colon.
But that was not the question for McCain; it was the length of time they stayed out of the country.
So true. lol.
Exactly.....and why would his magnificence pick a VP he’s already called a nasty maniac and a liar that no one likes.....
please, no rubio
Settled law, as per constitutional authority.
When? How? Who is the "constitutional authority?
It's never been ruled on one way or another, and Congress cannot change the Constitution by legislative act, only by amendment with consent of the states. Saying it's "settled law" is just nonsense.
...kinda like Cruz supporters here on FR did?
Trump has not made a declarative statement outside of the fact that Cruz (and Rubio) will face Democratmedia court challenges and attacks.
He answered a question about this and everyone started lying about what he said.
Anyone want to bet whether this wall gets built?
“I’ve always liked him,” Trump told Hugh Hewitt on his radio show
Trump: Cruz is a ‘nasty guy’...’nobody likes him’
consider the source - politico - need I say more
That's a mighty odd birth canal.
Or were you giving us your opinion about him?
Taking Cruz is less likely than taking Rubio since TExas will be a sure thing while Florida is a swing state.
