She’s right more than she’s wrong.
I believe the narcotic prescription increase came from Obama’s ‘why have an operation when you can have the doctor give you a pill’. Heard that on Charles Payne when they discussed this topic. Another benefit of obamakare
The only reason I think she was for Romney was because she believed he was the only guy who could beat the Islamic enemy agent and I don’t think she was wrong, I think the Islamic enemy agent won by voter fraud which of course they are doing right now with Hillary as we have seen with the “coin toss” in Iowa, but I don’t hold it against Coulter at all. I don’t know why people hold it against her. I was for Herman Cain, but the treasonists and the GOP-E (same thing) took him out with unsubstantiated claims of affairs and sexual harassment which I have no doubt they will do to Trump or Cruz as well, but who else could have beat the Islamic agent? Santorum? I don’t think so. Ron Paul? Newt? I don’t think so either, to me she was right, Romney was the best choice to get the Islamic enemy agent out of office, but the election process in this country is compromised and the Islamic enemy agent was left to continue one act of treason after another. I knew liberals in New York city who said they weren’t voting for the Islamic enemy agent, and he won? BS he won.

All the people
I know wanna be left alone
Some people I don’t know?
They won’t to leave you alone
I guess you gotta be
Just be just like them
Now the biggest gang
I know they call the government
And a gang is a weapon
That you trade your mind for
You gotta be just be just like them
Ya know the gang and the government
No different
The gang and the government
No different
The gang and the government
No different
It makes me 1%
It makes me 1%
Oh God
Trouble comes down
Like a foot stepping heavy
Shake your fist at the bitch
Or wave your money
You gotta be right
You gotta be right
Don’t be no
Supper for a big fish
With the big lip
And the over bite, bite
You gotta bite
All the people
I know wanna be left alone
Some people I don’t know?
They want to leave you alone
I guess you gotta be
Just be just like them
The gang and the government
Are no different
The gang and the government
No different
The gang and the government
No different
That makes me 1%
It makes me 1%
It makes me only 1%
That makes me 1%

I ran a small water company, 300 homes, for 30 years. I read their meters. I had a good relationship with everyone. Three confided in me that they were hooked. One in his Fifties, two in their Eighties! Oxycontin.
“...Heroin overdose death rates increased by 26% from 2013 to 2014 and have more than tripled since 2010, from 1.0 per 100,000 in 2010 to 3.4 per 100,000 in 2014...”
Assuming a population of 320 million, that would be about 10,900 deaths from Heroin.
“...Opioids, primarily prescription pain relievers and heroin, are the main drugs associated with overdose deaths. In 2014, opioids were involved in 28,647 deaths, or 61% of all drug overdose deaths...”
So it would appear that prescription pain relievers are responsible for at least 17,500 or so deaths.

Thanks. I’m on a train and a phone. I knew the data would be much like that.
My ex wife was hooked for 5 years. She dried out, but was never the same. Shell of a person. Awful.
“The recent surge in heroin overdoses is hitting black and white Americans about equally. According to the CDC, heroin overdose deaths from 2013 to 2014 (the most recent years available) increased by 8 percent for non-Hispanic whites, and increased 8.2 percent for non-Hispanic blacks.
“Curiously, heroin deaths of Hispanics increased by 0.0 percent. They arenât the users; theyâre the pushers.”
So, 47,000 idiots died of drug overdoses. Why should I care? That’s 47,000 morons out of the gene pool.
When the doc prescribed OxyContin to my dad about 10 years ago he stated that it doesn’t matter if he gets addicted, he’ll need it forever anyway (severe back/leg pain, nerve damage etc). What the doc failed to mention is how it messes with you. One thing is that you go through a withdrawal period as you approach the next dose: every single day. Your body always craves more, you might take it a bit earlier or a bit more then when you run out a day or two before you can refill, you go through the hell of withdrawal for 24-48 hours.
After seeing what prescription painkillers have done to him, I would suffer before taking anything. I even turned down pain meds after a c-section. It has made his suffering worse, not better-the pain is still there and he is addicted to the meds.
When Ann cites data, you better believe it is accurate.
But she’d lose one big argument with me...
Heroin overdose death rates increased by 26% from 2013 to 2014 and have more than tripled since 2010, from 1.0 per 100,000 in 2010 to 3.4 per 100,000 in 2014.
Hmm 2010, what happened that year, oh yeah Obamas surge in Afghanistan. Just back stopping W’s refusal to slow opium production. Lately I’ve been asking why are we still there spending US lives for what? Things that make you go Hmmmm.
Win it, or at least shut off most of the supply, and then put 'em to work at equal pay defeating the WOOJ (War On Our Jobs). For the most part, the risks in the latter are lower, and many of the tasks are parallel (interdiction, detective work, etc.)
The wise person reads at least as much from those he or she disagrees with, as from those “in the choir”.
You nailed it. Because poppy fields.
No coincidence that it increased with our involvement in Afghanistan.
