Today, Paul Ryan gave a fascinating speech at Heritage Action, a tea party-allied organization that has fashioned itself as the guardian of conservative purity. The speech called for unity. "To quote William Wallace in Braveheart," he said, "we have to unite the clans."
But his speech was actually a repudiation of everything the tea party has done. Not only that, Ryan also took shots at the congressional Republican leadership, and even the current GOP presidential candidates. He didnât call anyone out by name, but if you understand whatâs happening now and the conflict that has roiled the Republican Party for the last seven years, the critique was hard to miss.

Read the comments under that WaPo article and imagine yourself getting along with liberals.
I do’t trust the Compost to accurately report such an event
He might learn just what we voters want (it's actually pretty simple) and why we have learned through disappointing experience to NOT TRUST Ryan (or his predecessor).
Mister Ryan, YOU sir are one of our (the Traditional GOP) biggest problems.
.
Have a nice evening.
that is why he voted for TPP
Why his biggest Backer Club for Growth is a pro immigration gave him over 700,000
Boy if he is clean I wouldn't want to see dirty
Does Jose Medellin agree with you about Ted Cruz?
Did the Wisconsin turd roll his eyes?
All I can say to Paul Ryan is, ‘Thank You.’
It’s this sort of thing that is going to guarantee a conservative wins the nomination, and that eventually Rubio loses.
Here’s the filthy Nazis at the WP trying to start a fight between Cruz and Trump supporters.
Let’s count how many 50 IQ dopes fall for this blatant agitation and propaganda.
Ryan may have to be shone the same door Bonehead went out!
Tea Party to Paul Ryan: You are the problem. It least 70% of primary voters a going for anti-establishment candidates. Paul, you have no business in politics if you cannot see the writing on the wall. It is not even close. A minimum of 70% are fed up.
He wouldn’t be speaker without the Tea Party. That’s rich.
its an idiot article written by an sycophant left winger with idiot opinions:
” Ryan is correctly arguing that it was stupid to make promises that couldnât possibly be kept, but heâs arguing that it was making the promise that was the problem, while tea partiers and the base still believe it was the not keeping the promise that was the far greater sin. They see Mitch McConnell and Ryanâs predecessor John Boehner as feckless and weak, lacking the courage to stand up to Barack Obama. In their view, McConnell and Boehner are contemptible not because they lied to them about what could be achieved but because they didnât achieve the impossible.”
no- McConnell and Boehner are not contemptible because they couldn’t achieve the impossible, they are contemptible because they are feckless cowards who gave into obama...
No Ryan. You *ssholes entrenched in Gomorrah-On-The-Potomac are the problem. We plan to dump you like the despicable money grubbing trash holes you are - and when the next bunch eventually shows up and pulls the same crap we are going to dump them too!
Get lost, Ryan. Yo Tahm izz UP!
if Ryan has no republican competition vote for the dem this Nov.
These RINO’s need to get the message.
If there is someone else running in his area that is Conservative I WILL go down there and canvas for him with all of my heart!.
Speaking of STFU I’d recommend the same to you.
And look at what Paul actually said....Not What Someone Says he said.

He sees his crummy career passing before his eyes.
I look at what he’s done not what he SAYS.
but you keep drinking the Kool Aid if you like it, thanks.
Ryan says the TEA Party is the problem, although the TEA Party played a large role in putting the Republicans in the majority in Congress.
I, and many like-minded people, have grown tired of being seen as "the problem." Good luck with your pursuits, I will no longer stand in your way.
