Carson did say that it was not him personally who disclosed the information to CNN; it was a staffer. I can't help but wonder if it was a mistake where Carson didn't want that information out but it got out anyway. And even if it might have been someone in the NH group that had just quit Carson's campaign and wanted CArson's IA supporters to be able to support a conservative who was still in the race, just like they were doing by quitting the CArson campaign and joining Cruz' campaign.
The more I think about this, the more I think it may have been a very, very sad, mixed-up deal for everybody.
I don't like it that Trump is trying to say that he's the victim. I think the exit polls showed that people decided their vote at the last minute, and Trump had just put out a bunch of stuff that sounds scary to conservatives.
First, trump is just trying to keep the buzz alive. I am sure he has no plans to sue ... as a true Trump supporter I know how he rolls. :) He has never said the fraud impacted him, he just called it fraud.
The "conversation" was just the election night chatter at the CNN roundtable during the night ... filler.
Oh, so this wasn’t a conversation where a Carson staffer was there and it accidentally popped out that Carson wasn’t going to NH and SC.
Hmm. I wonder why the Carson staffer said anything about this if Carson didn’t want it getting out to the IA voters.
