Poor Jeb Bush; the Republican presidential contender had to tell the audience of a New Hampshire event when they were supposed to clap during his speech Tuesday.
The New York Times was present at the event, and reported on the embarrassing moment:
Speaking to a crowd at the Hanover Inn near the Vermont border during his final stop of the day, Mr. Bush finished a fiery riff about protecting the country as commander in chief â âI wonât be out here blowharding, talking a big game without backing it up,â he said â and was met with total silence.
âPlease clap,â he said, sounded defeated.
The crowd obediently clapped.

This guy is staying in for one reason only, to get the opportunity to stab Trump with his exclamation point.
He must be so far past humiliated with his mother joining him in New Hampshire. They re there for one reason only, to kick Trump when he s down.
Amazing that the audience was still breathing.
I would be afraid of dying form boredom.
He needs intervention. This is bordering on masochism.
I’m starting to feel sorry for him. I wish his mom would do the right thing and tell him to get out with whatever shred of dignity he has left.
Some tell El Yebbie to run in Mehico, he might break double digits... Bwahayahahaha! Go away hispanderer!
Just saw on One America News that Eric Cantor is joining him on the campaign trail in N.H. Oh boy, that oughtta give him a boost. (is a sarc tag necessary?)
His donors are switching to Rubio. He knows it’s over.
LOL- didn’t Fred Thompson say the same thing at a campaign stop? (God Rest his soul).
I’m embarrassed for him, I hope his Mother wasn’t there to see it.
It’s so sad...he needs to go home and do something really cool!
People in NH don’t know Cantor and are not likely to be that impressed with him. On the other hand, NH people like leftists quite a bit.
They were probably all asleep.
Poor Jeb! Should’ve trucked in a load of trained seals...
Where is his mommy when he needs her?
Quote at site:
“OMG,,, The look on the faces of those people was as if they were being held captive. Did they get snowed in and and held against their will or did a student bus break down and Bush invaded a waiting area? Those faces say a lot - no energy.”
I’d be shocked if Bush pulls 1% in NH, the Bush name is toxic in these parts.
The Bush name should be toxic in every part.
It is, the only ones that don’t understand that are KR and JB.
