He will in order to split the conservative vote and get Her Heinous elected.
Remember, Trump and Bill Clinton has a little tete-a-tete about two weeks before Trump announced he would run.
Monkey-business is second nature to these guys.

Wouldn’t blame him after the way they’ve gone after him. They meaning NRO et al. It would be a fitting comeuppance.
Outcomes
1. He wins
2. He loses
3. He loses but costs the GOP a victory

Trump wants to do big Hitler/Mussolini rallies where people cheer at his hatred, vitriol, and slogans. However, to win primaries, he has to talk to old ladies at Pizza Ranch. That’s just not what people like Trump do. I think he would have liked to win the GOP primary, but running third party will suite him just as well.

Trump always wants a mulligan. Look at his business deals. He always welches.
Donald Mulligan Trump.

Trump is screaming about Cruz campaign fraud, not going third party.
They are totally the same issue, there was no call to running independent, just talking about Cruz’s fraud in Iowa.

During Perot's speech after the 92 election, even though he only accrued 18% of the vote, first thing out of his mouth was, "We Won!!"
I scratched ma head. How can he think he won? Well, he pulled the vote away from George HW Bush and handed it to Clinton. By design.

Stupid article no reason to believe Trump is going to do any such thing. Regarding ego, I think Cruz and Rubio showed more of it in their Iowa speeches.

As Wolf points out, I’m not so sure. He’ll get some of the racists/nationalists who sometimes vote Republican, but also a lot of the LIVs who always vote Rat.
