If he destroys the GOP, but the Democrats remain intact, it will be a bloodbath in the election. Not only will a Democrat win the Presidency, but the Democrats will get control of the Senate, and perhaps even the House. If not in 2016, then in 2018.

If that happens, Hillary/Bernie will be able to ram through legislation that will never be undone. And they'll appoint 2-3 Justices to the Supreme Court who will not only reverse Heller and destroy our Second Amendment rights, but establish a whole bunch of new Constitution rights to benefits and other things that will destroy us.

Oh yeah, they'll also toss the Citizens United decision and reinstitute the Equal Time doctrine. That will wipe out conservative talk radio, and prevent conservative groups even from buying ad time to get their message out. The only thing people will be able to hear during campaigns is whatever the MSM tells them.

It may be cathartic to say "destroy the GOP", but the reality of what that means is that we'd be flushing the country.

As a third party candidate, Trump would draw far more votes from Democrats than Republicans.
