A Fulton, New York, woman is seeking donations to help her remove a "420" tattoo from her forehead.
Tabitha West created a GoFundMe campaign Jan. 20 to raise money for a tattoo removal.
The tattoo reads "420," which is a common reference to marijuana.
A message on the GoFundMe page reads: "I am wanting $ to get that tattoo off my forehead I want to have a better start out in life and have a second chance at life please help me I was young n dumb when I got that I'm older one looking for a job can't get out and people call me a druggie every day of my life and being called 420 is not nice and I almost killed my self over it...can't stand to look at my face anymore. .save a life save me..invest in me and I will show you I can be better with my life. ..thank you."
West set a goal of $800. As of Monday, more than $1,000 had already been raised.
Although West's tactic may have worked, not everyone seems thrilled by her decision to seek donations.
"Its people like you that keep my (sick) girl from getting help," Shawn Morse wrote on the page. "My daughter has three brain tumors, cerebral palsy, neurofibromatosis, an optic glioma, & a feeding tube. My daughters GoFundMe keeps getting passed over for things like this. There are too many people begging for money for their bad decisions in their life."
Jair Morales was more pointed in his response.
"People who donated.. you are all (expletive) idiots," he wrote.
She should convert to Islam, wear a burka, and nobody has to see your face.
Send her a can of Rustolium and a paint brush.
Probably took out a loan to get the tat in the first place.
I’m guessing there were men involved who convinced her to do it so they could laugh at her. Now she is chronically unemployed and blames the tattoo.
Low self-esteem. And probably low IQ.
Night when she was partying and very high or drunk or both.
I have 1 discreet Tat a beautiful Cross on my upper arm. I wanted it as an expression of my Faith, much like the Cross I wear around my neck on a chain.
I am happy that these people mark themselves. Now I can tell at a glance who to avoid.
She looks like Ozzy Osbourne in drag.

So true. But the tattoo rules out a Payday loan.
Yep, I can’t recall ever smoking and saying, “hey, how ‘bout I tattoo a pot leaf on my head??
There actually are a couple of charities that contribute to the removal of gang and similar tattoos. People get them because they’re young and dumb, involved with drugs, or involved with somebody who is involved with drugs and gangs.
She’s wised up, obviously, and one can only say better late than never. But it’s very true that these bad tattoos do keep the people who “wear” them trapped in their dumb ideas or even criminal past, not only because they can’t get decent jobs, but because gangbangers automatically assume that she’s one of them.
I don’t see anything funny or improper about this at all.
They don’t allow drunks into tattoo places. She was coherent when she had it done.
I wanted a small “tasteful” tatoo on my hip when I was about 20. It was the thing back then. Thankfully I shared my plan with my mom who told me it doesn’t matter where one gets a tatoo, eventually the skin will stretch and sag.
I am completely tatoo free :-). I also have six kids and can not imagine how horrid a tatoo on my hip would look by now.
GUILTY.
Even if she never had that 420 tattoo, she would still be useless and unemployable.
Bangs. Wear them.
Wow, they ought to tell folks that those tattoos are permanent...oh wait.
Apparently, 420 refers to 4:20 .
This is the time of day when it is ok to smoke weed - after school is out.
The stuff we learn. Could have done with out this knowledge.
I would say it was when she was stoned, but I imagine that wouldn't really narrow the date down any.
