Paul had part of that supposed “outsider” status. If I had to guess most will turn toward Trump.

Iowa served it’s purpose... not to pick the winner, but to narrow the field.

I don’t see how anyone in their right mind would want to be POTUS right now. The Obama regime is going to leave on hell of a mess to clean up. The commie lib “media” will blame the new president for Obama’s mess.

Excellent, isn’t his senate seat up this year? He needs to retain it. I agree. He was one of the most honest voices in this campaign.
I assume his support splits between Cruz and Rubio, but that is just a guess. I think he had both some liberty type supporters and some establishment type supporters.

I’m surprised the Cruz camp didn’t tweet that before the Iowa caucus.

At least we wont have to listen to the Paul supporters screaming wildly at the debates every time Paul so much as burps anymore!

Who did the Free State Project endorse?
I tried to look it up, with no success.
I would think that the Paul withdrawal would be a slap in the face of the porcupines.
Jes wondering out loud.

A wise move by Senator Paul. If he is true to Constitutional principles, he will endorse Ted Cruz. I am sure others are offering him cash and other inducements right now. We shall see.

Carson needs to suspend his campaign.
Two days off in Florida is NOT the way to win a presidential campaign. And it's something his supporters in Iowa should have been informed about.
To: WhiskeyX
I'm guessing Rand's 2-3% will mostly wind up supporting Cruz, who has basically co-opted most of Rand's libertarian economic positions.
This is the good thing, because most of the other also-rans have supporters who will consolidate around the remaining establishment candidate (Rubio).
To: WhiskeyX
Rand Paul is a good man. I’ll miss him in the debates.

Farewell to the only genuine defender of Constitutional liberties in the race. Like his father before him, he just didn’t have the charisma to sell his vitally important message.
