Huckabee, Santorum, Cruz. What do they have in common?

I didn’t turn Rush on today but I hear that he’s pumping Cruz & Rubio and tearing down Trump.
I’m so done with Rush.

Rush was on fire.
This article just touches on it.
Rush can say a lot in 1:40.

The difference is that neither Huckabee nor Santorum won Iowa after a month of being relentlessly attacked from all sides the way that Cruz was. Trump, the GOPe and the media threw everything they had at Cruz... and he still came out on top. Downplay it all you want, but Cruz's win was YUGE.
And Rush is right here. Trump was foolish to attack Cruz from the left... (1) on health care; and (2) on the notion that Cruz isn't someone who can cut deals with Pelosi and Schumer. It'll be interesting to see if Trump persists with this wacky strategy.

It was weeks before anyone knew Santorum had won Iowa.

Huckabee, Santorum, Cruz. What do they have in common? The proper question is Huckabee, Santorum, Trump - what do they have in common. The answer is they all three attacked Cruz like liberal Democrats and all three got rejected by voters at the last minute because of it.
And your analogy above? Very flawed. I'll wait a while before embarrassing you.

I agree with Rush that skipping the debate had nothing to do with Trump coming in second.

Trump has had lots of inspiration talking like a Democrat. For the majority of his years on earth he has been a Democrat.
I will forgive him for that because after his last performance at the debate on the Fox business network - he very willingly endorsed the mantra of ‘anger’. And he did it magnificently. So I figure we ought to give him credit for now being a Republican after enduring 7 years of Obama. Now, of only he would control his BIG ego.

Losers.
I said like week to that winning Iowa is the kiss of death.
Iowa rarely picks winners, and then only if they are incumbents.
