I’ve lurked my share of Cruz threads, and try my best to stop flaming when it occurs. This isn’t a time to fight against each other. If we fight, the establishment wins and thus the Dems win. Rubio is not an acceptable answer to the Democrats shenanigans. I will not accept Rubio as the Republican answer to the Democrats. We need Trump and Cruz.

I believe that’s true. Even more disturbing is their connection to Cuba. IIRC, for years while campaigning Rubio said/implied they were running from the Castro regime. Truth was, they left Cuba before Castro. There are many disturbing untruths that he’s put out there, and then, when caught, revises.
The case law on persons born-abroad is very clear, completely consistent, and says that all citizens born abroad are naturalized citizens.
The case law on citizenship of persons born in the US superficially leads to the conclusion that they are qualified for the presidency.
Rubio's parents were Cuban citizens who, at the time he was born, intended to return to Cuba. Rubio was born a dual citizen, and while the case law isn't as clear as it is for persons born abraod, the case law strongly suggests that a person born a dual citizen is not qualified for the presidency. Kawakita v. United States, 343 U.S. 717 (1952)

It is interesting that you don't demand the same principles from your candidate. For months I have heard Trump supporters cheering every vicious attack by Trump with the justification that "the other guy/gal started it".
