The Carson camp claimed Cruz's team spread false rumors at caucus sites that Carson had dropped out.
Ben Carson was incensed as the results of Monday night's Iowa caucuses rolled in, accusing the winner of spreading falsehoods about him at caucus sites.

Why would Cruz mess with Carson when the downside is so severe? Win, place, or show, he's still in the race. This is just the beginning.
I agree. It doesn't make any sense for the Cruz camp to do this. There's no upside for them. Now Rubio......I could totally see the GOPe (think Haley Barbour et al) doing this to make sure they come in a "surprising" third.
I’m a Cruz supporter and have always said i will support Trump if he wins the nomination.....but i gotta tell you i’m having a damned good time tonight!
A LOT of people are seeing greasy tactics with Cruz for the first time, and they are excusing it with “look over there” remarks.

He was talking about mental health issues and the difficulty in changing one’s behavior. Trump never called him a child molester.
I understand the short hand of saying compared to, but as i recall, Trump was quite clear he was not calling Carson a child molester.

I don’t believe that Carson is Presidental material, but I am willing to be proven wrong.
Having said that, dirty tricks are dirty tricks, no matter who they’re played on. If Trump’s people did this, I’d demand that they be fired right away. Cruz’s people did this? Fire them. Blackball them. Show that this is NOT acceptable behavior, especially from a candidate who is focusing so much of his campaign around Christian values.
I am not going to believe this whole-heartedly until I get some proof, but if true, this is going to be used against him.

Better hope this was photo shopped, or all these “who? me?” responses are going to pile up on Cruz.

Yes....Donald Trump was very classy.
IIRC, this was reported on MSNBC. Now, I don’t trust MSNBC as far as I can throw every single worker there at once, but it WAS reported.
If dirty tricks are being played, the people who played them need to be removed. If people in the Trump campaign played dirty tricks, I’d be screaming for them to be fired. Not just because it hurts a candidate’s image, but more so because it’s morally reprehensible.
If this is just a rumor started by Trump campaign people who are sore losers, they need to get a grip and also be fired. On the other hand, if these allegations are true, the people who pulled them should be fired, and possibly tried if they broke election laws.
Whatever the case, as an aside, I want to extend a peace offering, just between me and you. I know we’ve yelled at each other a lot and attacked a lot, and to be honest, I’m really sick of it. Perhaps we can agree that at least we have the same goals even if we don’t agree on who’s best to achieve them?
DRUDGE reporting that Democrat caucuses are saying that 90 precincts are missing ballots.
Addendum: If the deed was indeed done, and it was a dirty trick by Rubio’s supporters, we can team up on them, am I right?

There’s no there, there. Nothing story. Carson campaign messed up by not controlling their message and letting media announce Carson was suspending his campaign. Which is where the story came from. Cruz camp didn’t start it, they passed on the message.
Too bad for Carson that he didn’t have precinct captains around to refute the false press story.
I said that there are a LOT of states that he shall NOT win.
He did do that stupid mailer, which makes him/his team doing this, appear plausible. But yes, this needs to be cleared up...because it it just hangs out there, people WILL believe that he did it.

Evidently, LYING, SPINNING, and worse are the hallmarks of Cruz and his supporters.
Everyone was soooo disappointed when Trump handled it all with a smile and behaved so graciously.
I love Trump and his family, they are very classy.
This whole thing, tonight, has turned into something quite foul and disgusting!
