A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.
Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?
Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?
Trump might be the only guy that talks about himself more than Obama.
CSPAN 91% of Precincts reporting 10.10 PM CST
Cruz 47510 27.7% 8 delegates Trump 41812 24.4% 7 Rubio 39599 23.1% 6 Carson 15919 9.3% 2 Paul 7714 4.5% 1 delegate
Hillary 49.8% 20 delegates Bernie 49.5% 21 delegates
Trump hurt himself with his universal healthcare loving nonsense he did over the weekend, to just name a few...
[For cripes sake, Bernie Sanders - a communist - got half the Dem vote ... in IOWA, no less!]
Sanders supporters? Indoctrinated public school youth.
“2) We are also very sophisticated when it comes to evaluating candidates.
Which is why you haven’t picked a winner in 16 years.”
Agree but last year Romney lost by 7 votes or something. So even though I did not, and would not vote for Romney, he was essentially tied for first. My point was negative ads don’t work as well as we see so many. And I would argue the three front runners tonight are probably the three that any other state would pick, maybe in a slightly different order.
You have that only half right.
Tomorrow the news will be about the Trump loss and the big Rubio gain and two words about the Cruz win because the MSM is all about propaganda....you think that is a good thing or funny?
Tomorrow will be all about trashing Trump in favor of Rubio and Trump did this with his Cruz attacks and Cruz was fool enough to respond. Once again the GOP candidates have fallen into the establishments hands....Congratulations.
If Ted would actually give his speech, he'd be getting more attention. Don't know why he's not striking while people are still watching.
Imagine if he had pandered to the church of ethanol instead of standing against them like a principled conservative. But I can understand why some prefer a candidate that blows in the wind of public opinion.
I voted for him 3 times to CRUSH Dewhurst
Well, my Granny used to say, ‘in vino veritas’.
And then she’d say, ‘Forgive and Forget.’

>> For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
Amen.
>> Two Corinthians 4:5
heh. :-)
Ditto. And if you are going to support a candidate who defended federal funding for Planned Parenthood, then you have no business posting on FreeRepublic.
Iowa has picked the eventual Dem winner in each if the last FIVE election cycles, and the "16 years" is quite misleading on the GOP side... picked W in 2000, and he was unopposed in 2004... in '08 Huckabee won Iowa, and in '12 Mitt tied for first with Santorum... so they've only been "wrong" once in the last four GOP cycles, and not at all in the last five Dem cycles.
Haters gotta hate, I guess.
I agree, so what did Ted do in the Gang-of-Eight bill that amounted to a poison pill, or that brought about gridlock?
That’s called being a strict constructionist. It’s a plus for true conservatives.....
I’m happy with Cruz or Trump.
Would also love to see Cruz on the Supreme Court.
Had to laugh at this though:
Ann Coulter
?@AnnCoulter
Based upon exit polls, Rubio seems to have gotten the lion’s share of the Prevaricating Little Weasel vote.
I’m not. I’m a minister for pity’s sake.
Wasn’t he Mormon for a bit as well?
You mean, once he decided to run as a republican, he’s been consistently pro-life?
Damn that’s something you can trust! /sarc
CRUZ TO VICTORY!
