“This is a good night for TED CRUZ!”
Yes...he may have withstood all the crap. It says something very positive about Ted Cruz if he wins.
To: lodi90
Cruz is right about where everybody expected he would be in Iowa. LOL. Six gears in reverse......

True, especially when it seemed he was headed for an epic meltdown. Now, however, he has to do somwpething about that “all eggs in one basket” problem.
And if we end up with Rubio, it will be EXACTLY as I predicted: Cryz designed to take Trump down for the Rubio bait and switch. I feel that coming now.

I saw a report on Trumps ground game - he was using 2012 technology; Cruz could make 5x as many calls as Trump using newer Technology - Trump went cheap.
I'm a fatalist - I'll vote for either Trump or Cruz

It looks like voters who left Trump because he blew off the debate went for Rubio.

Are they using that lefty-app provided by Microsoft? I DON’T TRUST ANY OF THIS SH*T.
To: Jane Long
Rubioâs late surge is certainly odd, isnât it??
What is odd is the Democrat turnout versus Republican. 855 votes versus 90,000 approximate. Something is not right. Not even a dissenting vote on the Democrat side?

The silly Trump/Cruz argument is two sided.
To: mrsloungitude
I am for Cruz, I have avoided just about every thread recently because of the insane cult of Trump. I have no desire to make myself a target of the nasty name calling. I am lurking tonight. I have seen a lot of elections and consider Iowa an indicator of who will drop out; not who will win. I am glad Cruz is winning just because I hope that things will tone down around here. I fear that it will not.
My sentiments as well.

I am not a Trump supporter. If I were (and honestly I hate giving advice to those who treat my candidate so horrible but will this time)...I would be happy that he did so well in a state where he should be very weak. He is a New Yorker. He called Iowans stupid. He has tried to pretend more faith than he has the knowledge to pull off. Etc. He got last minute help from Palin and Falwell and others. If it ends as it stand now, he did amazingly well with what he had to work with. I am not happy to say that. But it is true. You should not worry one little bit.
It is not over yet, either. He may still squeak out a win.

Yep, that’s a record in my experience. What’s happening is that this has become just a primary and not a caucus.
