Palin Hits Cruz for ‘Inconsistencies,’
mediaite.com ^ | February 1

Sarah Palin appeared on CNN this afternoon to explain why, despite endorsing him for Senate four years ago and being good friends with him, she dropped Ted Cruz for Donald Trump in the presidential election.

Tapper asked, "What tipped the scales?" Palin said, "It became a much less difficult decision once some inconsistencies started coming out about Cruz's position on amnesty, on building that wall and securing our jobs and our homes."

She even said Cruz would be "more of the same."

So which candidate claims he was always for deportation from the day he was born? Was it Trump or Ted Cruz?

The context of my post (and this article) is Palin's statement that her decision to support Trump was easy in light of Cruz's inconsistencies. Even if Cruz has not himself been 100% consistent, the fact is that Trump has not been consistent either. So, if inconsistencies were enough to stop her from supporting Cruz, why would she support Trump instead?

Wow. End of Palin. Regardless of what trump does in the race. Trump has many positives but consistcy is undeniably not one of them. He’s all over the place on many issues. Loves a person one day. Hates them the next. Supporting trump over Cruz has several rational reasons. Cruzs commitment and consistancy is not his weakness. No ones perfect but no one can be relied on more. He’s got a 97% conservative rating for the love of God. Palin has now fully evolved into screwball territory.

It’s all in how you define amnesty. Cruz supports legalization. To many, that is amnesty. Others say as long as he stops short of citizenship, it’s not amnesty.

Palin is well aware of Trump’s position.

The foundation under conservatism has been cracked into pieces by the GOPe corruption of elected “conservatives” — and Palin understands this.

Had she endorsed Cruz, she would have been heralded as the greatest hing since sliced bread. Cruzbots are so transparent

Maybe she needs bail money for her son?

Jim, have you changed your mind about SP too?

How can this be allowed to continue, slandering SP because she endorsed a candidate for President?

I am done with her. She is a total sell-out on this Trump endorsement. I could hold my nose when she endorsed, but to go after Cruz really sucks.

Are you referring to the George Will pass off by Cruz’s people after they lied about having a roadmap to Conservative Treehouse?

I am so sorry for you guys. You are so vested in Ted Cruz you shut your eyes, close your ears and stop any critical thinking. Has nothing he’s said or done, the people who have not endorsed him but rather Trump give you one minute of pause? Suddenly strong, respectable conservatives, Sarah, Jerry Farwell, Sheriff Joe are all a joke? Do you realize how you sound?

"Which you can not do because Cruz has never supported a path to citizenship for all illegals."

You, Ted Cruz and the Republican Party are the only people in the world that hold that definition.

Everyone else in the world thinks that if they get to stay, they got amnesty.

No moron. Logic does not demand I falsify a false statement. It demands you prove your assertion. Which you can not do because Cruz has never supported a path to citizenship for all illegals.

Hahahahaha! You just accused me of claiming tat Cruz supports citizenship for illegals. Hey dumbo, for how many months have I been beating up Ted Cruz on this issue? For how many months have I made my point clear, but now you're going to play dumb and obfuscate the difference between citizenship and legalization? Nah, not buying it. Who's falsifying statements now?

It’s Obama’s fault that her son beats women and that her daughter keeps falling on penis’s and getting pregnant.

Where are Cruz’s actual “wins” as a conservative?

For one thing, thanks to his winning a case before the Supreme Court, the Ten Commandments monument in front of the Texas State Capitol is still there.

Oh really? If I define amnesty as touchback then Trump is an amnesty guy right?
