CRUZ HITS TRUMP ON HEALTH CARE - AND HE'S KIND OF RIGHT - Locked in a close battle in Iowa, Ted Cruz is turning to health care in an attempt to separate himself from rival Donald Trump. A brutal ad airing in Iowa links "HillaryCare" and "ObamaCare" with "TrumpCare" - and uses Trump's own words against him.
"Everybody's got to be covered, this is an un-Republican thing for me to say," the ad quotes Trump saying on 60 Minutes last fall. "[And] the government's gonna pay for it."
Cruz pushed this message further on several Sunday shows. "A vote for Donald Trump is a vote for ObamaCare," Cruz claimed on Meet The Press. "Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have the identical position on health care. Which is they want to put the government in charge of you and your doctor. Now my views are polar opposites."
- TrumpCare remains vaguely defined. Trump called Cruz a "total liar" and declared, "I am so against Obamacare." But the thing is, Trump has repeatedly reiterated his commitment to some form of universal coverage - just as Cruz suggests. However, we still don't know any specifics of a Trump health plan, or how he'd pay for it.
Pressed again on Sunday, he still refused to offer details. "We'll work something out," Trump said on ABC's This Week. "Nobody knows health care better than Donald Trump."

The quotes in this article supersedes whatever he said before because it is the most recent position he's stated (at least that I know of). And this last one is “government's gonna pay for it” which is conflicts with your quote from his book.
His positions change with the wind and you have to keep up... He's really sincere about it so lap it up. A little more socialism will make America Great again!

If you mean taxes. Was not Jesus the one that said to pay your taxes - he said it a couple of times in the New Testament. I never heard Jesus state taxes were theft. Can you point that passage out to me.

There is also the law that says emergency rooms must treat people regardless of their ability to pay.
Trump sounds like a Democrat, talking about people dying in the streets. Actually, he sounds a lot like Obama with his comments of doctors lopping the feet off of diabetes patients.
I actually do not blame him, Trump is just out of touch like so many politicians.

Trump the year before was telling us how “mean-spirited” Romney was for wanting to remove illegals.
But one guy is terrible and shifting with the wind while the other is a-okay with you.
You’ll be hard pressed to find many other “shifts” for Cruz but there’s a long list for Trump... Virtually every issue Trump has ever talked about he’s taken both sides of at one point or another.
We don’t live under Caesar where he owned everything and required his due. His dominions didn’t allow a vote.
Voting to take someones labor and give it to someone else is theft. It is simply mob rule by the majority to take what they want.
I asked again where does Jesus say paying taxes is theft? I am anti paying taxes like anyone else but your claim it is theft per what Jesus said needs proving.

I support Cruz even though I have a problem with some things he's voted for. But personally, my highest concern right now is the Supreme Court. When asked about that, Trump used his wacko sister as an example.
So Trump was calling for insurance competition 4 years before Cruz introduced legislation. Cruz became a senator in 2013 and didn't introduce legislation on this matter until March 2015, the same month he announced his candidacy for President.
Rush Limbaugh was saying he thought Trump lost Iowa because he was on shows sounding like Obama on healthcare.
Bret Baier at THE FIRST GOP DEBATE asked why Donald Trump supported single-payer in 2000. Here’s his answer.
“As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland.”
Trump is dangerous on health care.
Before people fell under the odd spell of the strange dude, we were all for repealing Obamacare.
Now apparently, Obamacare is okay if it’s called Trumpcare.
But putting money in the wrong collection plate was kinda funny as was two Corinthians.
That wasn’t a bony finger. It was a short, fat finger and don’t mention it either because Trump is sensitive about it.
You are correct and I am not responding to people on this thread whose posts reveal them to have an IQ of under 80...it wouldn’t be right .
That’s because Trump wakes up in a new world every morning. It’s Trump world where everything Trump says is true and bright and beautiful.
