Former Florida governor Jeb Bush brought in just $7.12 million for his presidential bid in the last three months of 2015, a little more than half of what his campaign collected the previous quarter.
His total for the quarter represents a sharp drop-off from earlier in the year: In his first quarter as a candidate, Bush raised $11.42 million. In his second, he pulled in $13.34 million.
The slowdown in contributions comes as the Republican has remained low in the polls in many of the early nominating states, including Iowa, which will hold the first-in-the-nation caucuses on Monday.

YEB!
LMFAO. That’s all I can say.
Trump collected almost that amount, for Veterans, in less than 24 hours!
When is he going to realize he isn’t going anywhere????
I read somewhere that the phone lines were open and another $600k was donated.
The dogs won’t eat it!
I understand heâs on suicide watch. Never has any candidate spent so much and realized so little in terms of votes. Payback IS gonna be a b!+ch. ;o)
Somehow this is about the 100th article I have seen that shows one GOP candidate or another with poor 4th Quarter fundraising. Wow! What a surprise.
It must be that ordinary people still choose to spend money on Christmas. I don’t think it is surprising nor particularly revealing about the state of the elections.
Just my opinion.
I Stand With Ted.
well, I think that with Christmas and all, donations to JEB would logically fall off
4th quarter was Ted’s best quarter. Jeb’s collapse is a debacle for him, his family and his cronies.
Right to Rise sounds like an E.D. support group...
I feel sorry for poor, sad, lonely Jeb. It's his turn. He checked all the right boxes on his resume. He raised so much money that he thought no one else would even bother trying. We're supposed to flock to his speeches and love him.
After all, he's running as "An Act of Love", and his political priority is to reward "Acts of Love". How could we not feel honored that Jeb is willing to rule over little people like us? How could we not be thrilled that he is willing to bring another 20 million loving people into our country as citizens? How could we not admire his compassionate wish to expand Obamacare and make it even more of what it already is?
Poor sad Jeb. How could the uneducated masses not appreciate his willingness to make so many decisions in the best interest of our global future?
He does not have to if he and the GOPe think they can broker the convention and put him in place.
Wow, is that for real? Sure would explain all those “enthusiastic” supporters at the Bush rallies.
It’s real.
I wonder if the stock market drop has hurt his donors and that is reflected here. Unless his big boy donors are the winners in the erratic stock market.
If the GOPe does exactly that, how do you think the normal, everyday conservative will handle that???
I know I would be PO’ed if that were to happen.
What would be the consequences at the general election??
LOL...
