The odd thing is that you can read flag-origin stories, and you will get one that said the “Blue White Red” is because Iowa was part of the Louisiana Purchase from France.

I’ve also read that it was a result of WW1 and was to commemorate Iowans that fought in France.

I think both are myths.

Actually, I think Trump will win, but the prospect of a Trump Presidency will cause the Russians and the Iranians to preemptively attack the US as part of their attack on Israel.

In Ezekiel 38, two distinct attacks are described. Biblical scholars have always taken them both to be about Israel, but only the second description specifically mentions Israel. The first is more general, and is hard to fit with the walled cities of current Israel. But it fits the United States pretty well.

That pretty much describes a pre-Trump America. Particularly the part, “against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.”
