Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is defending a campaign mailer that Iowa's secretary of state says misrepresents election law.
The mailer bills itself as a "voting violation" notice and tells the recipient it's been sent due to "low expected voter turnout in your area." It then grades the recipient's voting history and that of several neighbors, citing public records.
Cruz told reporters in Sioux City, Iowa, on Saturday that the mailing is "routine."
He says he won't apologize

Pate continued, “Additionally, the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office never ‘grades’ voters. Nor does the Secretary of State maintain records related to Iowa Caucus participation,” Pate said. “Also, the Iowa Secretary of State does not ‘distribute’ voter records. They are available for purchase for political purposes only, under Iowa Code.”
I guess you know more then Iowa’s Sec Of State.

I know nothing about “grades”, but the data breach is both real and nation-wide.
Everyone’s voting record has been leaked.

The fellow who just “happened to find” 191 million voting records dating back to 2000 or so is from Dallas. Amazing.
The grades are what the Cruz campaign printed on their so called flyers. I am not a prospect to ever vote for Cruz.
