PPP's new Iowa poll, conducted in partnership with Progress Iowa, continues to find Donald Trump leading in the state. He's at 31% to 23% for Ted Cruz, 14% for Marco Rubio, 9% for Ben Carson, 4% each for Jeb Bush, Mike Huckabee, and Rand Paul, 3% for Carly Fiorina, 2% each for Chris Christie and John Kasich, and 1% each for Jim Gilmore and Rick Santorum.
Since we last polled Iowa two and a half weeks ago Trump and Cruz are the only candidates to see their support move by more than a couple points- Trump's seen a 3 point gain in his support from 28% to 31%, while Cruz has seen a corresponding 3 point decline in his support from 26% to 23%.

This is one thing that turned me off of Rubio. To me, he seems to be an opportunist.

That's not to say they don't skew severely in the lead-up to that one. Yes, they try to shape the race.
But, to an extent, they try to get it right in the last one. Not saying they will, but they'll try.
I might use it as an appetizer bowl (’snausages’) for my bulldog.
Will you trade for a Nickleback cassette and a fridge pack of Dasani apple-flavor water?
Ted Cruz’ history reminds me of his fellow Canadian Keanu Reeves who self-identifies as a Canadian and is eligible for a British passport, was born in Lebanon of an English showgirl mother and a Chinese-Hawaiian father who deserted the family when Keanu was a young child, the result being the kid feels like a world citizen, lives in different countries, has destabilization in his early family life. If Cruz did not feel some affinity with Canada, he would’ve given up his Canadian citizenship long ago.
(Minus one can)
Des Moines Register endorsed Rubio and Hillary.
Their polls are completely biased.
I won’t be surprised if they show Rubio in second place.
lol... you think Cruz is more conservative than Trump?

LOL she looks just like him.
Wow! This is great news!
Ted should have held off attacking Trump until it was a two man race. He knew that Trump would respond in a big way. Now Ted is on the way down and Rubio is rising to take his place. Ted opened the door for the GOPe.
You make excellent points, especially about narcissists.
Well said about Narcissistic Personality. I speak from experience having relation diagnosed with the illness. As for Trump, well it ain’t hubris if he can do it. I suspect he repeats that often to himself. Can’t wait to vote for him.
Patrick Murray director of Monmouth Univ polling says Trump will win, Cruz will end better than expected. For whatever that’s worth. He also says Trump skipping the debate helped him.

True and well stated.
Thank you but he does not fit the definition of NPD. If he did his adult children would hate him and he could care less.
What drives him is a need to take on challenges and win. He is never satisfied. People like him seldom are. His father must have been very demanding of him. My guess he is always trying to prove something. That is what we need. Someone who is willing to really step up to the challenge and I think he will.
"And do you know what else they say about my people? The polls? They say that I have the most loyal people (did you ever see that?) Where I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose [any] voters. OK? It's like incredible.
Ted Cruz doesn't approve of his supporters behaving like dishonest liberals.
Cruz is paying for assuming his Canadianess would not be an issue. Even if it were 95% certain (it’s not) that he’s eligible why would anyone on the fence want to take that chance?
